My twin 2yo boys really enjoyed this dining experience so much! I can't wait to go again (hopefully on our trip in a few weeks.) Only minor complaints that being Disney, it is a bit pricey for the food -- you are paying for the atmosphere. Also, by no fault of the restaurant, the table next to us had some young 20-somethings on a double date. We were so close we could hear everything. Seriously, go to an adult bar. This is a family restaurant, not somewhere to talk about body parts. The moving dinos were awesome :-).

We ate here after doing some shopping at downtown disney, we had to wait about twenty minutes for a table, we just had a look around the dinosaur shop and the build a Dino they have there.
We was called up to our table as expedition of four which was very funny!
We was seated right next to a pterodactyl and every 20 minutes or so he and all the other dinosaurs would come alive and make noises this was great to see and loved by my 3 year old!
The food was really good nod the portions were huge, my eldest son didn't like his dinner and the server kindly changed this for him free of charge!
The drinks were lovely too and it was wonderful to just walk around the whole restaurant with my 3 year old looking at all the different dinosaurs and different areas such as the ice age and volcanic age very fun!
My only grumble is that it would of been nice if we was asked where we could sit as my son is a huge dinosaur fan and there was a area made out of a triceratops and he would of just loved to of sat there as that's his favourite dinosaur, but apart from that tiny grumble everything else was fantastic!
We would definitely return for sure, it is pricey but worth it for the experience it's like being in a theme park or museum within a restaurant, really enjoyable!

We originally secured reservs for this meal one time during our recent trip to WDW. We ended up eating there 3 times because the kids (ages 2 and 3) loved it so much, and so did we.

The atmosphere is quite amazing. No "room" is a bad view. We dined in both the "Coral Reef" room and "Ice Cave." You can request your room preference upon check-in. The ice cave is great for the "meteor showers" that go on every 20 minutes. The coral reef room is a great place to see all the rooms and it has a beautiful aquarium the kids can enjoy during their meal.
Keep in mind, with all that's going on in there, it is pretty loud!

The restaurant itself is pretty massive. They definitely have employed a massive staff as well to keep up with the size of the restaurant. We had excellent service all three times we dined there. Our first waitress, Suzy, was amazing.

The food was delicious. As I'm sure you may have read, the ribs are just...well...perfect. I also had the NY strip twice and both times it was a great eat. Pretty much everything from the apps to dessert were of excellent, fresh quality. (Keep in mind, this restaurant is also in the Landry's and Morton's Steak House family)

If you are on the Disney dining plan, they do accept that and you do get a lot of bang for your DP buck. Also TIP: if you try to book online through Disney and it shows there are no available reservations for this restaurant, call them directly! They are not exclusively owned through Disney and they do have reservations available that are not on the WDW Dining server.

On the last day of our family vacation we decided to go somewhere special to wrap it up. \looked good, excellent atmosphere, but that is where it ended, Greeter at the front was rude and snooty, Service was fair at the most, appetizer was great but only luke warm, main course was awful, potatoes way too much garlic and chicken fried steak was the worse I ever had, basically a breaded piece of leather,,,,yuck, I do not ask for much, just a little value for the money, take my word and go somewhere else, paid a 120.00 for a family of four.save your money and eat somewhere else..pretty bad.

Thankfully the food and atmosphere made up for the service. Of all 6 restaurants we ate at, this was the worst service we experienced. Seemed like he knew he was getting 18% because of party size and didn't care. (We gave more at every other place we ate). Disney Dining Plan was a life saver for this restaurant as we had 2 steaks and a kids hamburger and desserts (including that crazy chocolate/ice cream/dry ice concoction) which would have cost us well over $100.
