“The Disney Princess & Prince Treatment”

We own at Beach Club and besides location between two parks, find it has some of the best amenities (our favorite is still Wilderness Lodge). It has better food service availability than most of the resorts for quick service meals. Clean and amiable staff. I especially loved the concierge, Virginia, who "still works for Uncle Walt." Disney is still the leader in the resort industry.

We stayed at Beach Club for the first time. We got a good rate as FL residents, so we treated ourselves to a deluxe resort.

Check in took a long time and the person at the desk was far from a polished professional. I wish we had had another CM check us in, as I saw other CMs who probably would have handled our requests better. We needed 2 queens and a day bed. Supposedly our room had that, but not a large balcony as I requested. A huge delay with the CM looking for the balcony, the computer not taking any changes, and whatever! Blah blah blah! Krystina, the check in desk supervisor, came to help the clerk and never said a word to me! Ended up with a large balcony overlooking an asphalt roof and no daybed! All that wasted time! I thought the room had both daybed and large balcony. We immediately called the front desk to get a room with a daybed. I no longer cared about a balcony!!

Turned out the second room was better. It was right by the elevator and over the lobby area. A better view and small balcony. The first room was way down a wing, far from the elevator. We liked being by the elevator with little walking in the second room. I didn't find it to be noisy. A few times I heard people getting ice at the
machine, but no problem.

I also had asked for special accomplishment recognition for my boys. This was also a debacle at check in, with that CM wandering around trying to find 2 buttons. She could only find one at first. I really thought they would have it together at check in and make my sons feel some magic. What a disappointment. Why did I bother making these comments to the reservations people on the phone if the Beach Club desk clerks were not going to make an effort?! Very frustrating!!

The positives at Beach Club are the rooms, the pools, the
awesome slide, hot tubs, and cleanliness. Location is awesome! We walked to Epcot and the Boardwalk. Took the boat to Hollywood Studios. Many food options at Beach Club and Yacht Club. Marketplace was good in a pinch. We got coffee there in the morning because the in room coffee did not taste good.

The best thing was The Beach Club making things right on our second day. We came back from dinner to find a few things in our room. We received a note to our boys for their school accomplishments along with cookies, milk, and popcorn we could pop in an air popper they provided. It was a great surprise for all of us!

I would stay here again.

Disney's Beach Club Resort is in a fantastic location if you love EPCOT! It is an easy walk to the Entrance of EPCOT in the middle of the circle of countries. You enter the park with England on your left and France on the right. It's located on a large boardwalk with fantastic pools!

The pool is the best disney hotel pool. I loved walking to Epcot. The bathrooms are tiny with the door nearly hitting the toilet! The room we had included a balcony too small for chairs. There were maintenance issues but housekeeping was good. The room smelled. The staff would help you if you asked. Request a microwave at checking and when making reservations. Also food is limited after 9pm. The Polynesian staff spoiled us and for the same price, we expected that level of service. Don't get near the 24 hour pool because people stay up all night.

Disney's Beach Club Resort is within easy walking distance of Epcot and a short boat ride and/or walk to Hollywood Studios. There is wonderful ambiance both inside and outside the hotel. Yes the rooms and décor are a bit dated but we already know the Beach Club is scheduled for a rehab probably starting later this year so big deal. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and the full balcony everything for which we could have asked.

We were lucky enough to be staying club level and the concierge and lounge staff were lovely. Always very personable and helpful. The concierge level also offers a free dining/snack room of sorts - where they serve continental breakfast (which was very filling), snacks, evening appetizers and hors d'oeuvres, desserts, liquors, wine, and beer. Unlike many who say they do not care about there room location as they do not plan to spend much time there, we find we use the room differently than many. Our modus operandi is to get up in the morning, grab breakfast and head to the parks. Lunch is usually something light at the parks or back at the hotel, with the afternoon spent around the pool or even napping (what!) So we did appreciate very much our lovely full balcony with its view over Stormalong Bay.

Speaking of the much talked about pool complex, Stormalong Bay does not disappoint. There is a pirate ship with a water slide and a marvelous shallow are for small children. The pool has two slides, the sandy play area, the volleyball net, the whirlpool, waterfalls, and the lazy river. They checked our magic bands upon entering the pool area which was comforting.

There are also a ton of dining options around the boardwalk area, Swan & Dolphin, Yacht and Beach Club and of course Epcot. We really loved the proximity of Epcot allowing us to take advantage of several dining options we had never been to before. We especially enjoyed the Chefs Du France Restaurant.

Overall it was a great experience with only a couple of small blips along the way. I would definitely stay at this hotel again after the rehab is completed.

Every year my friends from Maryland come down and we stay at the Beach Club Resort. It is a very close walk to Epcot and we enter into the Countries which is a less crowded entrance with no wait to enter the park. You can walk or take the boat which also goes over to Hollywood studios. The rooms are comfortable and we normally stay on the concierge floor which makes it even better. The staff is excellent and the snacks there are great. We don;t use the pool but it looks excellent with a lazy river and snack bar area. I look forward to my yearly vacation at the Beach Club Resort

Room Tip: stay on the concierge floor if you can. You get a continental breakfast, beer and wine in the aftern...

We stayed in the Beach Club 4 years ago and loved it but was very let down this time. It no longer seemed to have the 'Disney' magic. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Our room had a hole in the ceiling but after a long day traveling and then a long wait for our room to be available I decided to phone reception and inform them instead of asking to change rooms. They apologisied and said it would be seen by maintance the next day. Two weeks later the hole was bigger and nothing was done even though the maid had to clean up the debris on the floor everyday. I did go down to reception on a few occasions but the queues were always long and I didn't want to waste my holiday queuing. On check out I reinformed the receptionist who was rude and did not even apologise.
On the upside this hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk to Epcot and The Boardwalk. The pool area is great with slides and a lazy river.
