I would like to tell you when we arrived at 10 pm we had a great welcoming but the room they gave us was terrible dirty, smelly and not making the family fill very magical so we ask to be moved and no problem at all they moved us to the perfect room new carpet and much cleaner so if your not happy with something at Disney I think they'll try there best to make you happy. Staying for two weeks we needed a home base that worked for 5 of us and it did all we needed. The Beach Club has one of the nicest pools with a lazy river its open till 11:00 pm the kids loved it. We booked Mears transportation from the airport(Sanford International) to hotel it just works great and once your on Disney property they have buses that pick you up in front of your hotel to all parks. Make sure you check out magic hours you can ride more rides during this time its less busy. The big plus this time was the magic bands they are great its your park pass, room key, credit card, all the kids loved them and so did the grown ups its all you needed to carry with you. You can walk to Epcot in 10 minutes Where there is a Starbucks and lots of dinning options, you will have to us one of your park passes to get in if your going to the parks anyway and have park hopper it works great for evening dining or lunch also always make dining reservations its hard to get seating anywhere at Disney if you don't have a reservations. The Hollywood studios is a boat ride away in about 20 minutes. The Boardwalk hotel is right across from the beach club and has many more places to eat and has different activities. The one thing we did when in Disney is rent a car for a day to go to Kennedy space center they have a car rental in the Swan hotel which is right around the corner it was very convenient. Thanks.

Room Tip: Make sure its what you want you paid a lot to stay on Disney property the pool view is the best.

There is absolutely nothing we don't love about the beach club resort! From the decor to the perfect rooms to the closeness to Epcot it is the perfect place to stay in disney world. It's a perfect family resort with a great pool and facilities, the short walk to epcot and wild disney world studios also makes it great for first time travellers. We've stayed there twice before and we will continue to stay there many more times.

We are currently staying at the Beach Club Resort for 10 days and we are not impressed at all. The room was not cleaned well and we constantly need to speak to housekeeping about it. Some items are falling apart such as the light fixture, sink (separating from the counter), shower hot water not working, mold, light fixture falling off bathroom wall, broken bed, and collected dirt in corners of the room. Our laundry was lost that was turned into house keeping.
Some of the items were fixed but not all. We spoke to management about changing rooms or switching to the Yacht Club but the Resort is booked so we are stuck here. I typically don't write negative reviews; however, I felt the need to write one for this situation. Other guests may have had a positive experience with this resort but we have not.

I'm sure this resort is better than the experience I had but I'll rate it for what I got. The things I liked about the resort is the location which is right on Epcot property. You can walk back from Epcot to your hotel. The air that they inject into the hotel lobby smells really nice. Want to get that at my house! While the pool at the Beach Club is really really small, you can walk to the Yacht Club and use their pool which is awesome. Lastly, the rooms are spacious.
On to the things that made the hotel "Poor". The rooms are really outdated. While the lobby looks nice, the rooms need a massive make over. The housekeeping was also pitiful. They only made us 1 towel made animal during our 5 day stay. Also, housekeeping and the front desk must not talk to each other because housekeeping always came early even though we requested a late cleaning (they would always come in when the baby was napping). The concierge also messed us up pretty good too. The day before we left, we asked him if we had any days at the park left and he said no and that it would cost us $130 to get another day for our family. When we got back home, we realized that we did actually have another day. After a few emails to Disney, they finally credited us for the day we didn't use but we would have rather had another day at the park. Instead, we had to walk around Downtown Disney, which our kids didn't enjoy.
Disneyworld, all in all, is an awesome place so we'll definitely be back but we'll not be staying here.

Room Tip: Don't let them put you near the elevator!

I stayed here a few years back. It was a lot of walking to get to the elevators or stairs which is not fun after a long days at the park. I did love the swimming area and the back entrance into Epcot.

We made our annual pilgrimage to Orlando for a visit to Disney World. This is our second time staying at the Beach Club. Again, it was outstanding in every detail. We were delighted with the service, food, room and location. The pool is wonderful! We love this place! See You Real Soon!

Room Tip: The wing that is near Epcot is actually a wonderful location. There is a side entrance that exits ri...

We spent 8 days in Disney World. Truly, this is our favorite resort. We would not even think of going to any other place on Disney properties. Everyone talks about the location in conjunction with Epcot. Well, it's all true. We even took the monorail from Magic Kingdom one night just as Epcot was closing. The guard allowed us to enter the park after a security check knowing that we were just steps away from the most awesome place in the World! The resort has everything that you can think of to make your vacation a blessing. You are greeted by friendly cast members. We checked in online and when we arrived we thought that we were dignitaries. The magic bands worked perfectly. Packages can be picked up at the Market Place along with getting a wonderful meal to start your day. Please take a stroll around the Boardwalk to get rid of some of those consumed calories. Fun on the beach at night. Just never a dull moment. We could go on and on, but we are counting the days when we can return to the same resort.
