Stayed for one week and once again enjoyed the usual high level of service we've come to expect. This hotel has the nicest "themed" pool at Disney IMO. Within easy walking distance of EPCOT and also about a 15-minute walk to the Studios.

Housekeeping immaculate; food offerings varied and we stuck to the lower calorie offerings this time around and were pleased.

It is Disney; it is not cheap. We know what to expect here and we like what we get. Not for everyone nor do we expect it to be.

From the well landscaped grounds to the hidden mickeys in the carpet, it is a beautiful property. 2 pools, an ice cream shop, a fabulous steakhouse and all to do an awesome experience. Will be returning in Sept 2010!!!!

We were picked up by Disney's Magical Express at the airport. We didn't even have to wait for our luggage, it was brought to our room! We were then taken to the Yacht Club. The lobby is beautiful and smells AMAZING! Check-in was speedy and friendly. The rooms have a nautical theme and we had a great view of the water. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and they helped us in any way they could. The pool and beach looked very nice but it was too cold to partake. They had fun activities every evening. The location is wonderful. We were steps from Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The only bad thing is that some of the rooms seemed a good distance from the lobby. Our friends stayed near the end, and they were forever walking to the hotel restaurants and gift shop. I spent a few days exploring the hotel and the adjacent Beach Club. There are a few cute nooks and crannies to sit down and read a good book. The solarium at the Beach Club is nice. Sunny and full of windows! The transportation system was also beneficial, but time consuming. One evening we took the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge and it took us an hour and a half to get there! On the way back we took a taxi and got back in seven minutes. No lie! The rooms are rather pricey, but I felt like we got our money's worth. I already booked a trip back for September. I love Disney World :)

Myself and my husband stayed here for 2 weeks with my daughter and her fiance in Novemeber 2009. During the trip we were also meeting up with my brother and sister in-law, who had emigrated to canada in order to celebrate my 50th birthday and her 40th birthday. From the moment we set foot on the property after a long haul ( 9.5 hour) flight, from Scotland, we knew that this was going to be a fantastic holiday.
We were met from Disney's Magical Express by staff, who stated taht they would make us" fell comfortable" after our long journey.
And boy they did just that! We were then shown to the lifts only to be told that for the duration of our stay, we had been upgraded to Club level!! :D

After having been checked-in by the friendly and curteous concerige staff we were on our way to room. Our room was at the end of the corridor and was a corner room so had extra floor space.Nothing can prepare you for seeing this room!

For our entire stay, conceirge desk staff ,house keeping and catering staff were nothing other than excellent! Karla from house-keeping was thorough and efficient, Jean in the concerige lounge always made sure he had our breakfasts favourite's and definately a smile!
The Stormalong bay pool is without a shadow of a doubt the best on Disney Property, with sand bottomed pools, Disney trivia during the day and even bingo.Be sure to catch the changing of the guards at 4.15pm

With a 5 minute walk from EPCOT and 10 Minute walk from Disney Studios this hotel is in the perfect location. Be sure that you catch a movie on the beach, we watched Snow White, these are played daily, you can find the week's listings at the entrance to the beach.

We had many lovely walks to the boarwalk, for pizza and coffee and to play some of the arcade games, there is also lots of evening entertainment on the Boardwalk!

I have to finish this review at some point, I just can't rate this hotel highly enough, although it can be assured we will be visiting again, especially when Grandchildren arrive!

Stayed on the club floor at the Yacht Club. Expensive, but exceptional service from the club floor staff. Really friendly, and incredibly accomodating. Which some would argue we were entitled to, given the premium you pay to stay on the club floor.
Food in the lounge was great, and the staff even got stuff out and warmed it up for us when we came home after the service period had ended.
In general - the pools are spectacular. Still can't get over the sandy-bottom pool in the center, and kids loved the enormous water slide.
This hotel is convenient to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, longer to Magic Kingdom and MUCH longer to Animal Kingdom.

Don't take the free transport from the airport...you get brainwashed for 45 mins with Disney adds. Five minutes would be ok, but a 45 min treatment brings you close to running amok and kill the bus driver, family or colleagues.
I have never seen a place, where the art of making money was so perfect. Well, on the restaurant bill you can click whether you pay the suggested 18 or 20%. Don't book the meal services, I learned that they remove everything exactly after 2 hours, doesn't matter whether everything was paid or not, even another glass from an open bottle of wine 2 minutes after deadline was a no-go. Disney, two times in my life...the first and the last time.

This was our first time staying at the Yacht and Beach Club at WDW and we were very excited. As soon as you walk in, the cast members greeted you with smiling faces. Check in was easy although we had to wait for our package of toiletries, snacks, etc. that we sent down. We loved the room. They were very clean and reminded us of Disney vs. our last stay when we stayed at the Contemporary. The only bad thing was the shared balcony but the people we shared it with never came out onto the balcony so that was ok. We were able to walk right over to Epcot the night we arrived and we were able to see the great pool (which we spent a lot of time there later on in our trip) and the scenery around the resort. Every night, they show a movie on the beach which the kids loved . We loved how the resort was very quiet and friendly and the amazing dining options. We were so sad to leave! We plan on coming back to this resort very soon, as it is like our home away from home.
