Disney's All-Star Music Resort

Just got back from 2 fantastic weeks of Disney fun. Been to Orlando 8 times but I'm ashamed to say this was my first ever Disney hotel stay....can't believe what I've been missing out on. Fab hotel, very clean, rooms lovely and roomy, every where was spotlessly clean, it's so easy to get around with the free transport, no hanging around for hours waiting for buses, and the extra bonus is the "extra magic hours" I've feel as I've been missing out for all these years.
Just booked for Caribbean Beach Resort for next year, can't wait!!

We rented power chairs (EVC) for disabilities for the 2 of us and our adult children stayed in another standard room. The suite was like being home and worth every penny- was $2500 extra above room rate. The longest wait we had for a bus was 5 minutes and that's both directions. The hot breakfast food in cafeteria was cold so I started ordering Danishes. The 1 lunch and 1 dinner I ordered was fine. We ordered length of stay cups for 4 @ $28 ea. I think we all had 28 dollars worth of soda. The coffee is really good. Used the magical bus both ways and liked the luggage delivery to rooms and checked luggage at hotel Music when going home. They want you to leave 3 hrs to catch flight home. Do it. TSA line is long. We stayed in the various parks and didn't use the pool, but Boy, did it look inviting!!! There's on-sight store for anything from beach towels, liquor, Band-Aids, junk food, lots to drink and trinkets. Stayed 2nd week of May and was in the high 80's. Was bearable by being inside the quee lines or stores to break up from being in the heat. Used magic bands to pay for everything and didn't have to fumble for money. Did fast pass set up months ahead of time which saved us being in line for 40+ minutes for rides. Vacation total was $1423/day for 4 ppl. We got park hopper but did hop. We have been to Disney 3 previous times but this was the best by staying on property.

We stayed here because it was my daughters first visit and I knew we would be spending way more time in the parks instead of in our hotel room. The rooms are small but they are clean. The resort pools are both big. The food is pricey but remember you are staying at Disney so it's pricey everywhere. The cast members were wonderful during our entire stay. We never waited more than ten minutes to catch a bus. And even though the place was booked it never felt crowded on the property and it wasn't noisy at all. While children are small I think Disney value resorts are the best way to go.

My husband and I went on a last minute second honeymoon trip to Disney World, literally had four weeks to plan, book and travel and had the best time. We stayed at the All-Stars Music resort. I was pretty apprehensive about staying here from all the negative things I heard about this resort and it turned out to be wonderful. All-Stars Music resort honors some of the world’s most popular music, there's a section for country music, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, calypso and Broadway shows. Large music icons stand outside each hotel, this resort is for music lovers of all ages. We've stayed in all of Disney's moderate resorts and one stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved each one. This was our first value resort stay and for reasons stated in this review our favorite Disney resort. The cast members were wonderful and always so helpful with questions we had. The resort is pretty laid back and we felt very comfortable there. We had a standard double bed room which wasn't very big but it was perfect for the two of us. There are two swimming pools one shaped like a piano and one shaped like a guitar both were about 4 1/2 feet deep. The water temperature was comfortable and that for me is saying a lot because I am always cold. There's a small play area located near the Jazz Inn section for the little ones, an arcade for older kids, a gift shop with lots of souvineer choices and sundries, the resort doesn't have a restaurant but it does have a food court which has a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. We ate breakfast everyday at the food court, we also had lunch one afternoon there too which was very good and had the pepperoni pizza for dinner by the piano pool on our last night there, the pizza was very good and the prices of the food was average of what we spend at home. We loved this resort so much that while we were there we booked a trip for next year requesting the same room the same month and in the same section. A big plus for us is All-Stars Music is affordable. We cannot wait to stay here again and I would recommend staying here to anyone.

The music hotel is just like any other economy hotel, the only difference is the shuttle to Disney parks. Rooms are small. Beds could be a little bigger. If you don't mind driving your car to the parks, then save money and choose other hotel

During our family vacation in May, 2014, we stayed off site for all but one week in a beautiful 3 bedroom suite at a location 10 minutes from Disney World for which we paid $132.00 per night. We booked one night at the All Star Music Resort for our party of 6 in the "family suite" so that we could get Magicbands and Fastpass+. The cost of this "suite" was $307.00 for the one night stay.
The rooms were tiny and sparsely appointed. There was only one real bed, and three foldouts in the living room area that when opened made the place look like an army barracks. The doors all open onto the outside walkway, and our view was of the parking lot. The pool is basic, and they have lifeguards on staff that wouldn't let our grandkids play with their pool toys. Food is expensive, but typical for Disney. We had planned to spend the morning after our stay at the pool, but with the attitude of the lifeguards, we went back to our other hotel to swim in the much nicer pool.
We stayed in the Calypso building, and when sitting by the pool, guests from the other parts of the resort are walking past the pool with their luggage, making the pool area a walkway rather than an area of relaxation.
We would never stay here again. If we choose to stay at Disney for the resort perks, we will save up and stay at one of the moderate or deluxe resorts. This place was very disappointing, and not up to the Disney standards we've come to expect for the prices they charge.
