We stayed towards back are (Near west depot), a little bit of a walk to the main builing but not to bad. The room seemed more spacious than usually. Below the TV was a small fold down bed that was perfect for my son. With that room could have slept 5. When we arrived there was no fridge so I had to call and request one. Right near us was a low key pool which was nice but they didn't supply towels for some reason. Maid service was OK but they never would store the iron away for us. All the employees were nice as usually.

nice quiet place very pretty outside white columned buildings. We did request a king size bed and an upper level but we got two queens on the lower level but got the garden view that I requested. We did find the breakfast at the dining hall expensive -disappointed with the quality of food at Disney we've been at Disney probably 4 times and I can't say I ever had a memorable meal. would probably try a different resort next time just to try something new.

We did not know what to expect at this resort as we had a bad experience when we stayed at the Disney's Art of Animation. To our surprise, the room was nicely sized. The location of our room was a nice and short walk. The food area was nicely stocked and the offerings were good. The staff was always friendly especially the lady who cleaned our room. We loved the boat ride to/from downtown disney. The only complaint we had was that the buses were always crowded. My son loved the pool also. Overall, the hotel was very nice and we will be staying here again when we visit Disney.

The room had a quaint decor with a old riverside motif. The hotel was comprised of a series of lodges scattered throughout the property. All the lodges had nice design and very clean. They were all tucked in a swamp-like forest which gave it a nice bayou-type feel.

Parking was good, it was right outside our room and it was free (as I feel it should be). The Wi-Fi Internet connection was pretty good, not blazingly fast, but faster than most.

The only downside to this hotel was that it had only one table service restaurant and it was only open for dinner, and there was usually over an hour wait unless you were there when they opened.

The other place to eat was a Quick Service food court type eatery, which had fairly good food, but it was usually mobbed. Also the food was a bit pricey for my taste, but you are kind of stuck and have little options, unless you get on a shuttle and go somewhere else.

Other than that, the shuttle service was always good and easy, and we were satisfied with the price.

As you might expect - excellent service. Lovely setting. A large hotel. Felt a bit far out. Had to queue for boats in the evening and gave up and went on the buses. The buses came frequently but took time to load as there seemed to always be a disabled person needing to drive their buggy on.

Room Tip: Ask to be near the food court to get a more central location
