Ants in hotel room. Gum stuck on picture frame. Glasses were dirty, sheets were dirty (had to get new ones from front desk which weren't much better). Breakfast was horrible - threw it away and went to Starbucks. Wouldn't be surprised if there were roaches in kitchen!

Fantastic hotel for the price I paid during the Easter holiday. Recently refurbished, the hotel was clean and well maintained in all areas. Housekeeping every day was a treat to have beds made and fresh towels in abundance. The hotel offered two drop offs each day to Magic Kingdom only, so glad we had a car. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, right in between Seaworld and Disney World, both only 10 minute drive away and close to two good eating outlets offering 10-15 different restaurants. Also only a 10 minute drive away from Premium Outlets Shopping Centre. Some people have commented on the poor continental breakfast, but it was adequate and free, offering cereal, yogurts, porridge, muffins waffles, and bagels.
I will definitely stay again on my next visit to Orlando.

Ok, let's cut to the chase:

PROS: HUGE rooms, HUGE! Overall clean, does include *something* to eat for breakfast, nice pool, good location, easy check in/out, and great price.

CONS: not a gourmet breakfast by any means...milk/juice, cereals, oatmeal, toaster oven, a few pastries, bagels. Not pancakes/waffles, no eggs/meats...just very basic. Good enough for us! Our room could have been just a tad it cleaner, specifically in the corners - I notice EVERYTHING, so most will not think twice about it. All other aspects of the hotel were clean, so I'll chalk this one up. Walls are a little thin, can definitely hear other guests walking here and there.

Overall, for the pricing of $90 for a 5 person stay (2 queens, pull out sleeper), this was a STEAL...an EXCELLENT bargain. Would definitely recommend and stay once again.

I am struggling a bit with how to rate this hotel and write this review. It had so many good things going for it but some issues led to me only rating it as average.

First off all we booked this hotel for one main reason and that was budget , under £300 for 7 nights with breakfast thrown in free.

When we first arrived at the hotel it looked in a pleasant area with clean and tidy grounds to the front of it , we knew renovations were taking place and there was lots of workmen in the reception area when we checked in. we had a short wait as a large party were in the process of checking in when we arrived and there was only 1 staff on the desk. when we did our check in it was quick they took my printed booking reference and gave us our wifi code and room keys, they gave us a 3rd floor room away from the noise of the renovations .

Our room was pleasingly large and spacious especially compared to our room in disney we had been at the week previously.First impressions were very good it looked clean and tidy and we had a pool view. The kitchen area and table was clean and tidy and much bigger than i had expected. The room had 2 large wardrobes both of which were hard to open /close and felt either broken or like they would break if we messed with them too much so once open and with our things away we just left them open for the rest of the stay. Overall we were feeling pretty pleased with the room when we first arrived.

We hadnt planned on using the kitchen area but it was nice to have the fridge and freezer to store drinks takeout that we brought home . We did notice that there was no handles on the kitchen cupboards , you could still manage to open them and reception said the wrong ones had been put on during renovation and new handles would be fitted soon.

the beds were comfortable and clean , 2 children shared one of the doubles and my son slept on the sofa , it was plenty big enough for him without needing to pull it out in to a bed.

I had no complaints about the breakfast yes it was basic ,fruit cereals muffins toast and juice but with 3 children who demand breakfast the moment they open there eyes it was great to just grab some bits , the muffins were moist and tasty. We would go sit by the pool and eat it as the seating area was still been made.

The hotel location was fantastic it was a short drive to the disney parks and malls were nearby. in the evening there were places to eat within walking distance and walkways felt safe and well lit.

After a day or so we started to notice tiny ants in our kitchen area, we hadnt been preparing and food or leaving drinks out , we informed reception who said they were sugar ants and they would have our room sprayed that day whilst we were out. The room was sprayed but the problem didnt go away. It got worse and worse i was cleaning down the kitchen area 2 or 3 times a day considering we were not leaving any drinks or food out or even using the kitchen to attract them it was turning in to a huge problem. We did inform reception again and they were helpful and said the room would be sprayed again and they also had a small hole in the door casing filled where they were possible coming from. We didnt want to take breakfast up to our room as by now the ants seemed to have spread to the dining table also . My son left his shoes on the kitchen floor one evening and in the tread of the soles ants were running all in the grooves , i was starting to get a bit grossed out now and felt itchy all the time. The ant problem was ruining what would have been an otherwise very good budget hotel in a perfect location. We packed up early one morning as we had a full last theme park day planned before an early check out to drive to miami and stacked the bags in the lounge area. When we got back at about 11pm that evening i had to get something out of the packed hand luggage bag , it was swarming with ants inside !! My boyfriend went to reception this time and took the bag to show her how bad the problem had got we were given a card and told to contact the duty manager in the morning, we did but had no reply and also never had a reply to any emails sent on our return home.We left the hotel feeling dirty and itchy and worried about taking the ants on our road trip with us !

Im not sure i would return here , the hotel has so many positive things going for it. its a great size for a family of 5.Location really could not have been better . However as the renovations were still ongoing during my stay im hoping that all the small maintenance issues in the room will have been tweaked. If it had not been for the ants i would have given it 5 stars.

I have given the service a poor rating as although the desk staff helped as much as they could i felt it rude the duty manager never got back to us

We have been coming to this hotel for 14 years. This year there were many changes and most were not good. - breakfast foods were not available as in the past. and housekeeping was minimal at best. Ants were in bathroom and kitchen cupboards. Pool & patio area was never cleaned. Staff was friendly & helpful and we enjoyed the new dining room indoor seating.
Too many dogs in one area - on the 3 rd floor! Light in bathroom above mirror fell down.

Room Tip: pool side rooms are great!

We stayed here for 4 nights during our tour of Florida and it was a pretty good choice. Our room had a view on the swimming pool and was quite comfortable. The kitchenette however was poorly equipped when it came to pots and pans. Fridge was a loud thing as well, but other than that, we had not much to complain about room-wise.

Breakfast was something else. Choice was poor and the breakfast room was way too small to host a decent breakfast experience for a hotel this size. Luckily, guests were allowed to take their breakfast up to their rooms.

The hotel was well located and had a shuttle service to Epcot. It ran twice a day and was on a first-come first-served basis. There was a dedicated staff member available who was assigned to answer all our questions about the parks, which was nice.

Overall, we'd recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't care much about breakfast :-)

Breakfast was mediocre, pretty much just juice and prepackaged things. The room has an ant problem, had to throw out a bunch of food because of this. Too cramped. The pool is nice though so it could have been worse.
