We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Orlando at Bonnet Creek. The hotel staff, concierge, house keepers and restaurant staff were great during the holiday trip. We stayed at Disney Resorts before, but found the Hilton Orlando a better overall experience.
We enjoyed the hotel's complimentary transportation to and from Disney theme parks. We're delighted our buses arrived and picked up as scheduled.
Another plus for adults is access to the Waldorf Astoria's Golf Club practice facility. The amazing staff gave tips on improving body stance and gripping irons. Golf equipment was complimentary, too. It was a blast driving and putting on the range!
For kids, they prefer Hilton Orlando's lazy river pool with waterslide. It was the bomb along with outdoor movie nights.
Last, hotel location was 45 min.-1 hr from JFK Space Center in Orlando through a tour service. It's not to be missed and has great educational value for all. In closing, an unexpected hotel charge was the resort fee, but it paid for itself with complimentary buses. (Cabs charge a similar rate or more)

I requested a room on a high floor but was given only the 3rd floor. Nice room tho. Pool area is great. Valet was very efficient.. Enjoyed going over to the Waldorf and having dinner at the Bear and Boar...outstanding place that is.

We spent there 3 nights in August 2013 with our kids aged 7 and 10. Hotel is very recent, rooms are very nice and perfectly clean and the rates are very, very correct. The lagoon pool is fantastic for kids and adults with a water slide and a super lazy river ! You can also enjoy movies at night… while swimming. Restaurant is ok and prices are not exaggerated, you can eat on the terrace, which is nice as the air conditioning make the inside a little bit cold… There is a desk when you can arrange your ticket for the Parks and a rental car station. Overall, a perfect choice when staying in Orlando.

It would be alright if you have your own transport and want the Disney experience without the full Disney accommodation costs.
However if you don't have your own transport, this place is quite isolated.
The restaurants are quite pricey.
gratuity is automatically added even for the Christmas buffet and boy, if you have breakfast vouchers, forget the service.
Room service has 22% automatically added which includes 5% administration fee PLUS a $3 room service fee.
Advertises access to the Waldorf facilities but bike hire is $15 per hour and walkers and joggers are NOT allowed access to the jogging route during the golf hours ie 7am until dusk.
So there are quite a few hidden add-ons.
Also we found the concierge staff confusing - it became a running joke for us that we were told different information every time we asked.

I have stayed at this hotel for a number of days and nights and I am horrified. There is absolutely nothing to do. Unless you want to pay $15 an hour for a bike, or pay a large amount of money for golf that is non enjoyable. Majority of the staff are rude. I am very disappointed and I will not be returning.
