This place is awesome. The Dr. Phillips CineDome is one of the most amazing theatrical experiences you will ever have. The feeling of motion is so real! A great place and great value for a weekend afternoon.

The center offers pretty much anything to keep the entire family busy and engaged. From local animal and plant life to the imax theater on site, changing exhibits centered around kids and youths, usually all very interactive, there is always something to do.
Great play area for the small, with water activities, play kitchen, a small sewer system to explore or oranges to plug and box :-)
The annual membership is very recommendable, particular as they change the kids exhibit around 2-4 times a year. We go around 10 a year. Particular during the hot summer months the center is perfect to meet with friends and their kids for play dates and such.
Food on site is a bit limited as they have only a Subway on the lower level. However you can bring your own picnic and just have it there or even get out on the lawn, eat there and then get back in.
It is beautifully located at Loch Haven Park.

I have 2 kids, 5 & 7 and we have been coming here for years. We live a few hours away, and when we come up for a weekend at Disney, we try and spend a day here. The museum has accessible parking for a minimal fee - the entrance fee itself is a little high, but we have a local science museum membership so we get in for free. The museum is three stories - there is a toddler section, an open hands on exhibit section, a dinosaur section (with huge skeletons and a fossil dig pit), and then a ground floor with alligators, a tree house, reptile and aquarium exhibits, a pretend kitchen, and a water feature. There is so much to do and over the years, while my kids have had many diverse interests, this museum has met them all. I also really like the big open cafe area - it's not crowded and there are plenty of food options.

Visited with my 3 girls (5, 2,and 9 mo) and had a blast! There are 4 floors with lots to do. They give you a map with age recommendation areas but we went to them all and tried everything out. Very clean and organized and lots of bathrooms. There's even a Subway for lunch. Will definitely visit again. Would love to have one of these by our house!

Visited the Center this week during a heavy rainy afternoon. There is a garage with a walkway attached to the Center so we did not get wet. There are 4 floors of exhibit which are very hands on. Numerous buttons to push and levers to pull. Although we were all adults, we enjoyed the Center as well as any of the kids. The price includes a 3D movie which was an added bonus. This attraction will not keep you busy all day but certainly for the afternoon.
