We arrived @ MCO airport and there was no shuttle. Had to take a taxi costing $30. Reception was very slow and took almost 5 minutes to process a guest. Got a double queen but had booked a king. Receptionist refused to change rooms. Swimming pool was out of service. Rooms smells like dump carpet. Please stay away from this place.

Dear Valued Guest,

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your recent visit with our facility. Regarding Our complimentary airport shuttle services we do have hours of operation are from 6am until 11pm, of course there are glinches in all types of operation by stating this our shuttle is not permanently parked at the airport waiting on guest to fly in. We reserve a pick up area and a free courtesy phone so guest can call and let us know that they have arrived. We also use our shuttle for transportation to and from the area attractions stating that if we are in route to one of the parks we kindly inform guest the waiting time for pick up. Of course if our shuttle is not in route to a current drop off it only takes 20 minutes from the hotel to the airport for pick up depending on traffic. I am pretty sure you understand that due to traffic and weather conditions nothing is at a set time. When we can't comply with substanial timing we do at times offer to pay for guest taxi. In reference to the pool not in operation you did not put on file your check in date which brings me to questions why? Unlike some places we actually put an alert on our webpage and informed all guest booking by phone that we were remodeling the pool. We actually did not drain our pool until Saturday night in which it was cold outside not the kind of weather to swim in; so I was surprised about the comment but will not for future time. Thanks again for your response and we hope that you will give us another chance to offer you great hospitality service.

Found the place to be clean, well-furnished, safe, and I enjoyed my overnight. Some noise filtered through the wall from next door, to disturb sleeping, that's how it happens sometimes. Microwave and mini-fridge with HBO also increase value.

I read some of the other reviews after and I was shocked. I had a very nice stay, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and I have not one bad thing to say about this hotel except that I would have preferred it off of a very busy road. I will definitely be staying again in the Spring.

Customer service was poor at the front desk. The rooms had dirty sheets on the bed and the carpet was just as dirty. If you stay more than on night, they do not clean the room. When they finally changed the sheets, they had pubic hair on them. My aunt asked for clean sheets when she checked in because theirs had certain stains on them. This place is not well maintained and it smells nasty. I wouldn't stay there for free!

son left wallet in room [confirmed they had found wallet] after repeated offers to pay for return of wallet,they will not respond. Asked to mail drivers license to address on license,will not respond. Very poor customer service.............

Just stayed in this hotel which is very close to the airport and unfortunately also close to the highway and a busy street. If you open the door or window it is quite noisy where we were. However when closed the traffic noise is minimal. Room was clean with clean carpet and good beds. Includes breakfast and some amenities. Fine for sleeping since most people come to Orlando for the entertainment nearby.

We booked this hotel this past Labor Day weekend, for 2 nights, in a King bed room. When we arrived we discovered our room had 2 double beds and they just said "sorry, that's all we have"....no refund/credit since it was after 4pm. We decided to stay since we really wanted to have a weekend get-away. We then decided to eat dinner in the sports bar restaurant on site, The Prime Grill & ordered Cheeseburgers, fries, an appetizer and 2 drinks. A few men were in the restaurant also and seemed to "own it". One approached us and identified himself as one of the new owners. He wanted to know how our meal was, which we told him was prepared well and tasted good.He thanked us and left. I need to also mention that these men had JUST purchased and COMPLETELY remodeled this property a few months ago and did a very nice job, with tastefully decorated rooms, lobby, nice grounds, & pool area. So, the next night we decided to eat dinner again at the Prime Grill. We ordered a different appetizer, 2 salads and a Philly cheese steak sandwich to share, and a drink. The potato skins were over cooked and hard, the salads had only lettuce and tomatoes, missing the onion and croutons listed on the menu and when we bit into the sandwich our mouths were instantly ON FIRE !! When we opened them up we discovered about a dozen slices of Jalapeno peppers on each half !! The menu lists: "philly cheese steak, melted cheese, grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms"
We tried to get the server's attention and when she finally came over (we were the ONLY ones in there at the time) we told her about the Jalapeno peppers and her reply was "Oh, I guess the cook screwed up".....no offer to make a new sandwich or not charge for it..nothing at all..she then just walked away! We asked for the check and then noticed that she charged us $10.99 for this sandwich, instead of $9.99, as the menu states. When we asked her to correct the dollar overcharge (for a sandwich we couldn't eat!)she said she wasn't authorized to do this and walked away again, so we paid the, with NO tip and left. We asked at the front desk for assistance with this issue and were again told they couldn't do anything. We asked again the next morning at check out and finally got someone to call someone at home and they authorized a $10.99 credit. 2days later we discovered that they CHARGED us an additonal $10.99, instead of a credit AND the server had added a $7.00 tip to the bill !!! We had clearly written "none" on the tip line ! When we called the General manager, Mr Freeman, he cursed my husband, accused us of being loud and rude and told us not to ever come back!!(we are very quiet 60+year olds) He refused to correct the $10.99 overcharge also, so we were charged $21.98 for a $9.99 sandwich we couldn't eat...........do yourself a favor and stay away from this place and as a matter of fact I would avoid ALL Days Inns. We have complained to the Corporate office of Days Inn and they have not been the least bit helpful. We even have our copy of the credit card receipt to prove the over charge and the credit receipt that was posted wrong...still no luck !! We are trying to get the credit card company to resolve this now. Forget this hotel !!

Well as much as this complaint is very well written to undermine the hotel management. This story is very frabicated by the guest. During your stay we were not sold out and there was no room change the discussion you brought to my attention was only about the inconvenience of the steak and cheese sandwich having jalepeno peppers. The owners of the property are in Miami not in Orlando so there is no way that someone could have met them. We research the complaint before responding to the guest. There were customers in the restaurant whom brought it to the manager's attention of how the employee did her best to accomodate the customer with the sandwich discrepancy she refused to have her sandwich changed the only comment made from the customer to the employee was that she would not offer the server a tip which was not disputed. The employee brought it to my attention and to clear the air I suggested to give the refund back in full to avoid a poor response and keep the guest happy. I received a call two days later claiming that the employee gave herself a tip and we never refunded the guest. I proved to him that we refunded him and there was no tip processed on the ticket and if he could send a copy of his statement proving his claim I would be more than happy to talk to his bank. He refused and change his complaint back to the server messing up his sandwich. Yes he was asked to never return because of the foul language he was speaking on the phone and his insults of disputed his complete charges for all of his purchases to the hotel. We wished him well and informed him that his business was not welcome him anymore.
