A long road with shops restaurants and amusements on either side. We played golf and visited sizzler on our visit. Golf a little expensive at pirate cove but we could park there free whilst sightseeing and sizzler does good food at a gr8 price.

If you're looking for the bright lights (including taillights), lots of people, lots of "gift shops," chain restaurants mixed with some occasional local fares, additional attractions (like miniature golf, random water parks, etc.) this is the place to go. However, beware of the traffic! Lots of traffic! But chances are, if you're trying to find a specific chain store/restaurant, it's on I Drive.

I found this place very touristy if you know what i mean , few tacky shops lots of diners some of which were not good and too expensive for the horrible food served , some nice bars up further i.e millers ale house (fabulous food & drinks). a few bars had some music going , not really any nightlife . nice area VERY clean. a " couple" of good shops just past millers worth a brouse . Over all ok.

I think International Drive is the heart of busy Orlando...lots of restaurants and a variety of gift shops. It was very congested early to late afternoon and particularly in the evening...3 years ago, I don't remember it being so congested. The huge eye-catching McDonald's with fries and Ronald McDonald at the intersection of International Drive and Sand Lake cannot be missed...the kids loved the atmosphere in there and the fact that they serve food other than McDonald's fast food is a plus. International Drive is a must see.

This place is just for built tourist, it has just about everything you will need along it. Gift shops, helicopter rides, 400ft bunge ride and supermarkets....there are loads of hotels along this road. I would recommend you stay a street of the main drive to avoid the traffic and people.
