There is so much to see and do, ICON Park is amazing, the shopping outlets either end are well worth a look and so many Restaurants offer good value, especially with coupon booklets

This area is great for food and entertainment. I would recommend that everyone not waste thier money buying merchandise or souvenirs at the theme parks and go here where you will get the same items at 30% the cost. Most shirts go for $10.00 or less. Where in the parks they are as high as $35.00

This seems to be one very long road with shops, restaurants and attractions and is great at night and there are some superb attractions such as sky ride, Ripely's and many others. We enjoyed shopping at the many different outlets along the way and the choice of food is amazing. This year we decided not to do anything Disney due to excessive costs of the parks and the greed of the parking charges, so this year we found plenty to do outside of Disney and we also went to Busch, SeaWorld and Aquatica which in our opinion are better value then Disney as they have better coasters, less busy and the food is affordable so there is more then just Disney in Orlando to have a magical time and Aquatica is an amazing Water park

We were staying at Rosen Inn International so were ideally located on IDrive. There was a IRide trolley stop right outside the hotel (stop 10). Handy for going up and down the Drive to the outlets at both ends and to SeaWorld) There were also buses but we did not go on these. The trolley can be accessed by wheelchairs and mobility scooters via a lift. The drivers were very helpful. The tickets are very cheap. Only $2 single if I remember but you can buy a weekly/fortnightly pass I believe from some of the hotels. These can not be bought on the vehicle. There is a good guide to the trolley which gives information about the stops and which hotels/restaurants etc are located at each. The trolley guide also has discount vouchers to download and print out.
We were close to restaurants such as Denny's, IHop and the largest McDonalds. Prices here for meals were good and good delicious. There were several restaurants we visited such as Olive Garden, Longhorns and Miller's Steakhouses. Go to the websites for the restaurants and you may get discounts and special offers for these too. There are many more we didn't get a chance to try. There are various entertainment areas but one of the central ones in this area is the Orlando ICON. In this area there is the Orlando Eye and the Starflyer. Madam Tussauds, Ripley's Believe it or not and the Sealife Centre. Lots to see, do and eat.

On our last visit to Orlando we passed up and down the length of International drive a n umber of time, it was good to see all the new work was coming to an end and the new/updated ares were opening up. This has certainly reinvigorated the main I Drive strip and added a load of new things to do and see. It feels more up market.
