This is a good hotel with good amenites and close to International Drive and all the theme parks. The 2 bed apartments are a fair size and comfortable , but be warned the 1 bed are small with almost no balcony. The free breakfast is not up to much but on a tight budget is edible and staves off any hunger pains. The cooked breakfast is expensive and most mornings the food is luke warm to cold. There is better value elsewhere. The maids come every 3 days (doesnt always happen) but will come in every day if you leave a card on the door. The apartments all have dishwashers which was great, no dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful. Probably not the best hotel in Orlando as they claim on the electronic board outside but certainly not the worst.

Room Tip: Block 2 is probably best and has been refurbished in the last few years. A room with balcony and te...

This was my first time to Florida. I went with my 20 year old friend and as a huge theme park fan we did the theme parks non stop for the 14 days we were there.
The first thing to mention is how nice the staff were. Every member at the reception desk helped us out with a big smile on their face even though they were clearly busy. Most cleaners would offer a good morning in the corridors and lift and the breakfast staff were all bright and perky for first thing in the morning. Lydia in particular was very friendly.
Another positive was the ticket desk for the universal parks. The lady we spoke to most (forget name, wore a head scarf) got us all sorted with transport to the parks and extra tickets we needed to buy and went out of her way to help us when our taxi didn't show up to the Busch Gardens bus-stop at Universal.
The Virgin breakfast we got was good with danishes, eggs, cereal and waffles served every morning. What was a bit odd was the 3 hot breakfast food items that changed daily, sometimes normal (sausages, bacon) sometimes a bit weird (diced potatos, american biscuits).
Location was great with loads of international drive stuff really close, free (scheduled) transport to Universal and Seaworld ($7-10 for a taxi one way). We were glad they offered Disney transport but it did cost $12 for a round trip and the times the shuttle left were limited and not great as the last shuttle was at 9.30- so no time to view the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studio's fireworks. We would recomend seeing these however, we got a taxi back on those 2 nights costing $35.
I can't really comment on the pools or other amenities as we didn't use them much. There was a handy shop on site though that sold food, drink and other bits and bobs.
The room was nice with an excellent view of one of the pools and the Universal theme parks in the distance (perfect for theme park fans, a great backdrop to wake up to!)
Our air conditioning was far too loud to sleep through but we asked for a fan instead and got one almost instantly no bother.
The room was clean and bathroom nice enough. The towel rail collapsed off the wall at one point but that can be forgiven. Also the pool was a bit noisy but it closed at 10pm each night so the nights were silent and peacful. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable however my mattress seemed to have been slept in a lot with a body shaped groove in the middle of the bed. Comfy for me by myself, not sure how 2 people would find it.
Overall the hotel was very nice and was an excellent, cosy, friendly place to come back to at night after a day of intense theme-parking.

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper ask for a fan as the air conditioning is noisy. If you plan on sleepin...

Very disappointed, recommended by a friend who said it was not fancy but very clean and a nice place to stay. Se was right about not fancy, that is ok, but it was not clean shades of gray black mold all round floor at baseboards and horrific black mold in the adult onsuite bathroom. Shower hardly large enough for a normal sized person. Antique micro and hot plate stove in kitchen. Mattress falling apart and broken down, sounded like a train when you rolled over in bed. Toilet paper like sandpaper and the toilet and sink sounded like an airplane flusher. Internet slow or not working. Staff very pleasant and check in very quick. Will never stay on the ground floor again felt like a basement apartment. Very disappointed, wil not return. Will go back to The Point, unfortunately they were full when I booked our trip.

Room Tip: Do not stay on ground floor or I tower 1 . Room 1101 awfull!

I have just returned from this hotel and it was a great experience. Travelling with my 10year old gran-daughter meant hoping that chill out time was not boring for her. I need not have worried, there were kids clubs and so much access to provision just a short walk away onto Universal Drive. The I-trolley bus at $1.25 for adults and kids free was ideal for getting out and about. Our schedule on coach trips were safe and easily accessible for pick ups and drop offs.

Staff were polite and the hotel was clean. Our suite was very s[pacious and view from the terrace was overlooking the pools and the lake, which at night was a lovely site reflecting the lights from the theme parks near by. The choice of cooked breakfast, at a small cost, along with the complimentary continental breakfast, was a nice suprise and useful dependant on how much you ate the night before. I would definetly use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less A/C unit noise and avoid last one down 1st floor corridor which is next to m...

This was the fourth time my wife and I stayed at the Enclave. Anne and I had a singlr room for the first week and a double suite for the next two weeks when family joined us. I have to say we were more than pleased with the rooms . The rooms offer maid service every three days or more if you require. I thought this was a good idea because you don't need your room cleaned every day.Melissa the manager and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect , you can walk to wherever you need to go or hop on the trolley service. We hope to go back next year for a month.Great value for your dollar.

Just got back from staying at the Enclave for 5 days. Followed the advice of many other reviewers and asked for a newly renovated room when I booked. Got room 3511 and here is a very honest review about the room we received and the hotel overall:

- They really need to improve their cleaning staff. This was the worst thing about the hotel. It seems like all they do when they clean is change your towels, organize things and make the bed. Nothing is ever vacuumed or swept. It's not so bad when it's your room that you've been staying in for a while, but when you first arrive and you still see people's hairs from last time on the floor or on the bed it's really disheartening. When we arrived we went through the bathroom cabinets and found old things from previous guests (used razors, pads, etc..). Even our blinds had food stains on them.. it was just little gross things that show how obvious it is that basic cleaning is neglected.
- The bathroom was very small. When you step out of the shower you really have to be careful not to step straight into the toilet bowl, although, this is probably something that was specific to the room I stayed in.
- The shuttles to Universal Studios come at GREAT times! The bus driver is such a funny gal, she remembered us and made us smile every day. If you don't want to drive then fear not, take the shuttle! Also, if you find the shuttle comes back too late (around 7:50 at night) then the cab price to go back to the hotel from Universal is about $6-7! So great.
- If you need to do groceries and you don't have a car then you are absolutely screwed. My party did not have a car and we had to walk to the Walgreens (which wasn't a far walk but on a hot and humid day it was pretty much hell) and they barely had anything fresh
- The kitchen plates and utensils are kind of dirty.. it's pretty gross and I was hesitant to use them but alas, had no choice
- The breakfast is adequate.. The food differs a little day to day but it's satisfying nonetheless. The coffee is terrible, there's a waffle maker which was cool, the service is pretty slow (you have to give your ticket in to get plates from the people working there) but overall it's fine. Breakfast runs from 7am-10am.
- The taxi service that runs with the hotel is not trustworthy. We took the hotel arranged cab to a nearby outlet mall and were charged $10 + tip (there was no meter in the car, by the way). We took a regular cab off the street (with a meter) and were charged $6 + tip
- The shower head was horrible. It ran so awkwardly. The water came out really hard but only from half of the head. Hot water runs out fast in the morning so shower quickly! The water also doesn't drain very well while you're showering so your feet are having a bath while the rest of your body is in a shower. It was annoying.
- The air conditioner was so loud. I'm a really heavy sleeper and it woke me up every single time it turned on.
- The halls are really out dated and smell really mildew-ish. It's not a big deal because it doesn't affect your room but some people tend to care about that. Also the elevators are terribly slow. They take a while to close.
- The rooms don't have great sound proofing. Some families are very loud and we heard them screaming till late hours of the night.
- The beds were very comfortable and pillows too. As always in Florida make sure you check under the sheets and mattress for bed bugs or cockroaches. We checked right when we arrived and found none of either, so that was great.
- The staff is really sweet. Always saying hello to you when you're around and about the hotel. It's nice.
- We reserved a studio suite with a balcony.. The balcony was HUGE but the furniture provided was gross. All run-down and beaten up. The umbrella and chairs were all moth eaten and smelly, and the tanning chairs were once white but now stained some odd yellow colour.. just not something you want to lay on with bare skin.
- The wifi is a little annoying but it's not the biggest deal. Also the TV doesn't have many channels. I know, I know. You're probably thinking "who cares about TV and wifi when you're in Orlando!" but when it rains and you leave the park early, you'll be bored in your hotel room and then you'll care.

Melissa Glenn (the manager) is an absolute sweetheart. We emailed her about 100 questions and she answered every single one in such a timely manner. There was a sweet girl working the front desk with brown hair and a nose piercing.. Don't remember her name but she was very kind to us also.

Most of the time the little bad things really did pile up and outweigh the good but hey, it was a fine price and we had some great services. I definitely enjoyed being out of the hotel rather than in. I felt like I had to walk on egg shells in our hotel room to stay clean...

I really can't emphasis enough how much the dirty room really bothered me. There was dust on the plants, every fabric was itchy and stained (towels, linens, blinds, etc), the countertops and just everything everything everything looked like it was never cleaned. They need to have a serious talk with their cleaning staff and get them working MUCH harder.

Room Tip: Ask for a newly renovated room. Pictures attached are of room 3511.
