“Saved us from Wyndham Resort & hotels”

I lived in Tampa and decision to take a long weekend in orlando to shop and just relax. (which I do about twice a year) I booked a room at the Wyndham resort on International Dr & Sandlake Rd. My room smelled so bad of mildew I had to leave. So just drove arround and saw The Enclave. What a different a block makes, the staff was so friendly, room clean and didnt smell, pool and ground well kept.

Book through VIRGIN HOLIDAYS -
Spent 7 days during August 2012 with my three children at the Enclave Suites. On arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Check in was quick and we went to our Suite which was clean, spacious and fabulous, it was in Building II, on the 10th floor. The views were spectacular -lake and theme parks which at night time is spectacular.
ALL the STAFF - Receptionists, cleaners, gardeners, the convenience store - were very welcoming, helpful and polite always with a smile. This made our holiday very enjoyable. We were very happy and at ease as if we were at home. The Enclave Suite is A fantastic place for family because of it's location and easy access to everything. My family and I can't wait to be back. Thanks Enclave for making our holiday a memorable one.

This was our second visit to Orlando. Our last trip was in 2010 and we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel on Universal property. We had a 2 bedroom suite there and we stayed for a week and it was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. However, we paid $300 per night for that suite. We decided to stay 3 nights in Orlando this time and when I saw the rates for a 2 bedroom suite and the photos online of the Enclave Suites, I couldn't resist. The positive: the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The suite was definitely large enough for my husband, myself and 3 teenage boys. Two bathrooms with 2 showers!!! Full kitchen! There was free shuttle service to and from Universal, which saved $20 daily on parking- and it was only 10 minutes away. The negative: the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the blankets were stained and/or torn. The furniture on the balcony was filthy. The carpeting outside our room was soaked (something leaked maybe?) and there was a huge blower plugged in the hallway going continuously for 2 days. Overall, I've discovered I'm a snob and I'd rather save and stay at a top-notch hotel than pay bargain rates for bargain quality.

Just want to say went for 14 days from 020812. The hotel and all staff were excellent, helpful.
The reception team were marvellous.
Rooms were better than expected they were ideal for our 3 familes (total 13 people).
The Enclave is right near wet & wild,
For Seaworld & Aquatica the hotel does a free shuttle or you can get the I-ride (takes about 20 minutes).
Only downfall we had was not with the Hotel but with the distance to Disney World to do buses would take hour and half plus. The hotel however does do shuttle (have to pay a charge),

Overall I would recommend this hotel as a very nice base to start your holiday from.

This is our second trip to Orlando and this hotel really is ideal for my family's needs.

Stayed here for 10 days and from day 1 we were pleasantly impressed not just by the shear courtesy of the staff but by the condition of the suite and the surrounding areas. I was sceptical at first after reading other reviews but am glad that I went ahead with my instincts and booked.

Will visit here again and recommend this location to anyone interested in a home away from home. We stayed on the seventh floor in a two bedroom suite and did not experience any discomfort or problems, very spacious and offered comfort to everyone.

Apart from being centrally located to almost everything this hotel also offers great relaxation if that is what you need.

Room Tip: if you are travelling with a family of four or more it is advisable and worth the while to take a tw...

Our room was on the ground floor in building two, with a lovely view over the lake and wet and wild. I was very impressed.

The staff were excellent! Great customer service!

I've marked this hotel as average but that's not a bad thing. Yes the decor is out of date, but that's about all I could moan about, but who cares about that when everything else is perfectly fine.

The room size is more than adequate, with a sofa bed, a TV, a double bed, kitchenette and ensuite. Perfect! Oh yes and air con - I didn't find it too noisy at all. The room is serviced every three days - you don't need more than that, not sure why some reviewers moan about it.

Each building has a pool with a hot tub - very nice indeed! Which close at 10pm each night. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub - open 24 hours. Plus a nice little gym with good equipment in (not that I used it) but lots did!

We couldn't have picked a better location.
A word of warning don't be deceived by the maps - the attractions are not within walking distance! It looks like Universal studios is just over the road but it's not. Having said that getting to Disney and Universal etc is very easy once you know how... Enclave run a complimentary shuttle to Universal Studios 3 times in the morning and on return. The Disney shuttle costs 12 dollars each with is about £7, that's not a bad price, a taxi will cost you about 55 dollars - so maybe get the shuttle there a taxi back - especially if you are staying for the fireworks.

Or the local transport is very easy and the stops are just at the top of Carrier Drive - on International Drive. Two options for you, either the Linx bus - to Disney you can get the number 8 and transfer to the number 111 - it's 2 dollars for any journey - but when you get on remember to ask for the transfer ticket (so you don't have to pay 2 dollars again). There is also the iride (trolley) costs only 1 dollar and a quarter. Runs up and down International Drive.

There are some good cheap restaurants to choose from, Chilies is the best! Just at the top of the road - a two minute walk!

All in all a good choice hotel - don't be put off by negative reviews!

Augs- 2 weeks, family of 4. Hotel room clean, Pool superb, Service was personal yet professional. Location unbeatable...on the doorstep of all types of restaurants and public transports(if not driving, very easy to use i-trolley and Lynx bus services for all your needs from theme parks to malls). Taxi service by hotel is good. We used all shuttles services provided....excellent. A real family atmosphere in and around the hotel. Pools were not overcrowded. Breakfast room could get a little crowded for some but I quite enjoyed the buzz; gave first-timers like me chance to swap notes and tips with others to make our trip enjoyable. Publix supermarket stop 41 on i-trolley very handy, 2 week pass costs $17. Lynx bus cost $2 per trip or $4.50 daypass.
Some rooms are outdated (built 20+ year back). We did experience faulty a/c and water leakages, but problems dealt with immediately. Studio would suit couple, wouldn't recommend relying on the sofabed. Upgrade to two-bed for 4 guests. Rained most afternoon but that didn't stop the fun, you just base your time around it eg. like take lunch or indoor activity. Flex theme passes good especially if you are visiting multiple parks and you don't won't to cramp it all in one day eg. we visited seaworld twice as some rides/show weren't operational first time round.
Special mention for Kaitlyn, Heather, Vera, Enrique and Benjamin for attending to all our needs in making this dream come true. Would recommend this hotel to a friend or family, Will be back.

Room Tip: Do not rely on sleeping on sofabed. Lakeside view is a must. Higher floor with terrace.
