i recently stayed at the enclave with my wife shirley and our 2 kids. my first impression was that it was in serious need of a make over, very old and out dated but at least it was clean. the location was perfect, only yards from international drive and the i.hopper with all that it has to offer from great bars and lovely restraunts - not to mention easy access to all the theme parks. but most of all the enclaves biggest asset are the wounderful staff with Josie who runs the kids club and all the restraunt staff with Burneese who is one fun loving woman ;.) and Sussie & Jackie on the hot plates doing a great job to make sure everyone is taken care of. last but not least Derek who always had a nice cold pitcher of beer ready at the end of a long hot day running round the parks with the kids. all in all a good place to stay and i'd stay there again tomorrow.

Room Tip: if traveling with children book a room with seperate bedroom. we had one room with sofa bed for kid...

All the staff were friendly and the hotel and suites were very clean. Yes the decor is dated but not in a shabby way, they were painting the hallway while we were there so everything is in good condition so the fact that the decor is dated is not a problem. My boyfriend emailed the hotel before we left due to some previous review suggesting to do so and request a recently renovated room; on doing so, we were upgraded to a terrace room because the trip was a present for my birthday! Thought this was really nice of them and wasn't something they had to do so nice touch! The suite was huge, bed really comfy and everything was clean and tidy.

The air con wasn't brilliant, took a very long time to cool the room down but we left ours on during the day so it wouldn't be boiling when we got in. Slight problem with the room was the fact that there was little lighting so it was difficult to get ready as we had to shut all the curtains but there was only a light in the kitchen area and a small lamp next to the bed which made the rest of the suite pretty dark.

Location is great for hopping on the I-ride to get to sea world etc and in walking distance of universal (about 30 mins). Not a long transfer from Sanford airport either, about 40 mins.

One thing we were disappointed by was the free continental breakfast as it was nothing like what we expected from 'continental'. There was only bread and donuts, and bananas and apples I think. If this is what we knew the breakfast was then we wouldn't have been disappointed but because we were expecting our definition of continental (croissants, cheeses, meats, all sorts of breads etc) we were!

Other than that, it was a lovely stay and definitely value for money in a great location.

Room Tip: Request a newly renovated room before you go or try and secure a terrace room, the terrace wrapped r...

We stayed for 7 nights in a 2 bedroom suite room 3403. The place was clean but somewhat dated. We were somewhat disappointed we didn't have a pool view but still the balcony was nice. The pool was extremely nice and clean. I would suggest bringing your own beach towels and they didn't have towels 2 times when we were down there. The queen bed was comfortable but the 2 twins were a bit hard. The only complaint we had was that the fire alarm speaker in the ceiling had an intermittant annoying ringing feedback throughout our stay. We notified maintenance and they did come to look at it and did take it apart to do something. We probably notified the desk about 3 times but finally gave up and prayed it didn't come on at night which it didn't. The wifi was very nice and we didn't have a problem connecting.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the pool

Just finishing our 2week holiday at the Enclave and had a great time ,check in was quick although did feel for the staff a family with small children before us were checking in and they were running riot pulling out all the leaflets and been totally out of control ,next was going too our room was a little apprensive because I read the reviews everyday but it was spotless ,maid came every 3 days changed beds clean towels and I didn't leave out a clean room hanger ! Everything worked ok and you have to remember what you paid it's not 5 star so don't be expecting it ,corridor carpet needs replacing but hey it's not going to spoil your holiday , the location is excellent and I didn't need to worry about security felt very safe walking around alone with my 2 teenagers ,the grounds are lovely and 2 lovely outdoor pools can get very busy though ,in all I would return here and as every one before me as said the staff are lovely .

Room Tip: There is a fair ground behind the hotel but it's not noisy ,most people retire early too be up...

The Enclave suites are a great place to stay while visiting Orlando Florida, They are situated about 100 yrds from International drive, The rooms are very spacious and have a good sized kitchen a sitting room and dinning area, The bedrooms are very comfortable and if you book a large balcony then you are in for a treat as the balcony wraps around the apartment with plenty of seating outside. There are three swimming pools and a games room for the kids,And you will find the Enclave suites will suit any budget..

Room Tip: if you can get a room on one of the top floors they have the larger balconies.

Just back from a lovely 17 night stay and this our 3rd time staying at the enclave the staff are friendly and courteous. Location is ideal for theme parks other than disney. Their is an abundance of restaurants to choose from in the area. The night we arrived we tried to get changed to a different room as we ended up in building 3 and didn't have a pool view the staff were very helpful but couldn't get us another room as it was very busy however as we were repeat customers the upgraded our breakfast for the duration of our stay which saved us a lot of money :) I do agree the place could do with being refurbished and they cleaning staff could do with moving the furniture when they Hoover but these are all things that can be improved on. My 3 children love the place all the staff are very good with the kids and Burnette is great with the kids ( she is also good with the husbands haha! )they know her since they were babies and they have such fun with her and she never forgets them it's like a home away from home and we will definitely be returning here in the future Xoxoxo Theresa. We booked this as part of a package so had the hot food breakfast included, which was a great start for your day. The guy that makes the eggs in the breakfast room was really friendly and brilliant with kids, if there was nobody waiting on eggs he would come over and interact with the kids, give them colouring ins and balloons.
I have no complaints about the hotel or our room, it is one of the better hotels that we have stayed in on international drive.
The location is very good we had walked back from universal a couple of days as we did not want to wait on the return of the shuttle which was easy and free too book from reception the day before you wanted to use it.
Overall a great stay and we would definatly use this hotel again.

Room Tip: The building overlooking the tennis courts are quiet enough.
