“Great place to stay !!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Spent 6 days at Disney and we stayed here for the first time. It was a great experience, we had a one bedroom villa and there were 5 of us... three adults and two teenagers. Its a lovely place with full kitchen, two full baths and a nice sized bedroom with a king bed. We enjoyed breakfast in our room every morning, which cut down on our expenses. I ordered groceries from Garden Grocer and it was all delivered to the room. The housekeeping was done everyday and we had no problems with anything. The staff is very attentive and everyone is always asking if your stay is enjoyable. The walk to Magic Kingdom is literally 10 min. walking slowly. We stayed at Magic Kingdom every night til past one in the morning and just walked over to our hotel in 10 minutes flat. Nothing negative to say about this place... it is just magical!

Nice clean, modern rooms- great little kitchen. Convenient and connected to The Contemporary which has monorail access, Chef Mickeys and other food. Good pool and hot tubs- a more quiet and less busy resort. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here over 4th of July with our entire family and could not had a better time. It is located just a few minute walk to The Magic Kingdom or a short monorail ride. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and it was really nice and clean. We were on the 14th floor and had a view of Bay Lake from the room and a view of space mountain from the balcony. We did not watch the 4th fireworks from the hotel but did watch them on the 5th from the walkway and it was great.
The pool area was great and it has a marina with jet skis and boats to rent. It is only a short walk across a walkway to the monorail and restaurants. Be sure to try this place when you come to Disney. Megan at the front desk was great for our check in would like to have her working for me.

Room Tip: Get a high floor to get a view it is worth it.

We had a wonderful time 7/1-7/5/14 at Walt Disney World. We stayed at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and it was perfect for our family. We had help planning our vacation with Robyn Ayers from Dream Makers Vacation Services (who we use exclusively for ALL of our travel) and she was amazing. Robyn provided quick answers to my many questions (first time travelling to Disney with a 22 month old) and gave helpful guidance and suggestions.

We chose Bay Lake Towers due to the proximity of the Magic Kingdom and being on Monorail. We knew we would primarily visit Magic Kingdom with our little girl, so this was the perfect location. We rented a one bedroom suite, which had a separate bedroom, and living area--2 full bathrooms and a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The resort out a pack and play in the living area where our daughter slept. all of the conveniences of home and gave us the needed amenities with the flexibility "eat in" if we desired and even do a couple loads of laundry before we returned home---that was great not having to unpack and wash everything once we returned home---

our room overlooked the Bay Lake and my husband and I could watch the water parade every evening at 9:30 pm on our balcony after our little girl went to sleep. The resort was very clean and the pool at Bay Lake was very nice and we could even use the pool at the Contemporary as well. Both pools also had splash areas for the kids which our little one loved.

It was a great trip and we look forward to returning to this resort next time we visit Disney. Please let me know questions :)

have a magical day !!

Alright here is my take on Bay Lake Tower. Being a DVC Member Family we loved this hotel. Others have stated rooms are tight yes they can be if you have more than 3 people in the studio rooms. The rooms are not over the top for in your face Disney it is subdued in that respect. We were in room 7637 the floor right above the skybridge walk on the Lake side. The beds are comfortable for regular mattress I sleep on a memoryfoam oing size bed at home so a queen size bed for me is a downside. Now for the showers. Be warned that the spray is like surgical needles they are high pressure nozzles. TIP: use the toggle under thre waterhandle to adjust to a lighter spray amount. This helped greatly and my 13 Year old discovered this tidbit. The tub is short but to emphasize i am 6 foot 3 inches tall. If you have chance to stay here do it. The Staff is phenomenal and are very attentive to any inquiry or request.

Spent 6 wonderful nights here. It is in a great spot to get to Magic Kingdom and the surrounding resorts. Because of this you have many dining options in a close proximity. As well as the ability to walk to the kingdom or take the monorail. We stayed in a studio that was immaculate and in a great location near elevators and the walkway to the contemporary. Kitchenette comes with sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and plenty of storage. Great for quick breakfasts. We will be back for sure.

Room was clean and comfortable but the 1 bedroom was smaller than I was expecting. No complaints about service which was excellent. We were able to get in early. I think I was spoiled because I stayed in Grand Floridian villas first which was more luxurious and spacious. However Bay Towers had 2 separate bathrooms whereas the 1 bedroom at G.F. only had 1 which was inconvenient at times. Also the balcony entrance at Bay Towers was behind the living room chair so that always had to be moved in order to get outdoors. On the plus side though it is nice to be able to walk to Magic Kingdom (about a 12 minute walk).

Room Tip: Standard view is boring.
