Harry Potter world is only a small piece of Universal Studios but in my estimation, you can spend the entire day there and be satisfied. I am a Harry Potter movie fan and I was blown away by how authentic everything is in that realm. Even if you are not a fan of HP, you will still come away impressed in how they created the imagination for the tourists that come. It is truly like you are in the movie.

The rides are 100% great and the food is not bad either. The butter beer is a must to try by the way.

For some reason, the folks who designed the 'Harry Potter' section truly underestimated the amount of people that would be drawn to this attraction. It has been three years since this section of the park opened, and attendance has not fallen off in the least. Understandably, an addition to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is in progress.

There are only three rides in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but ambiance and attention to detail are really what makes this section of the park special. Try to get to the park early and head directly to the 'Harry Potter' section. Even better, stay in an onsite hotel to have the privilege of early park admission.

My adult daughter and I spent 4 hours of our 12 hour park day in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Because we had early park admission and the Express Pass option, we were able to ride The Forbidden Journey four times (used the single rider queue twice) and the Dragon Challenge roller coaster twice. We walked right onto Flight of the Hippogriff (small coaster) and spent no longer than 15 minutes in line for Olivander's Wand Shop.

In addition to the rides, we leisurely walked around the retail shoppes, where great attention to detail was paid. My daughter spent quite a bit of money on Harry Potter merchandise. If you have a fan in your family, be prepared to part with your cash. (Here's a tip about Harry Potter merchandise, though...the souvenir shop at the park entrance actually has a better selection of Harry Potter merchandise than the shops in the 'Harry Potter' section.) We also partook of the Butterbeer beverage, which is basically cream soda with a very sweet butterscotch cream on top. We caught a show by the "Frog Choir", which was adorable. Apparently there is another show, but we missed it somehow.

The line was a bear, but once you get to the ride, it was well worth it, and I was willing to get in line again.

They need more rides like this. Awesome.

Spiderman was cool too, just a notch below Harry Potter.

This was the whole reason we went to Orlando as our daughters begged to go, being massive fans.
It was impressive and atmospheric. The shops are quaint looking and really realistic looking.
We tried the Butter Beer and had food in The Three Broomsticks... Well it wasn't great but the area itself was!
The rides were all good but The Forbidden journey was magical! Excellent!

We had an enjoyable visit. 3 Broomsticks was delicious & loved the shops. We have a 2.5 yr old, so missed the rides, which I think took away from some of the experience perhaps. Butterbeer is a must do. Yum! I would warn against the wand shop though. Don't wait long for Olivander's. Go with no lines or a short wait because while it was fun it is most definately not worth waiting longer than a half hour unless you are the lucky one getting fitted for a wand.
