The Hotel was better then what we thought it would be, we got two rooms that had a communicating door, our family is of seven four teenagers and a baby and having enough beds and two bathrooms was excellent, we did got a roll out bed as an extra, although it cost $15.00 extra per day it was worth it. The rooms area is very good, the beds were very nice, and the refrigerator a must for a party the size of ours. The baby enjoyed the pool more then everyone of us, we had breakfast a few times in one of the restaurants and the rest of the days we would buy it from the little market and eat in our room. At dinner time we loved to go to the open bar with all the children and order hamburgers cut in half and a few other things having a great dinner at a very good price with the convenience of charging everything to our room. Another great thing was the bus service to the parks and the extra hours which we used only once but it was worth it. The concierge helped with anything we needed for going to the Mall, to church and getting to any restaurant we wanted to go. The only thing I didn't like was the cost to use the internet on the business center, I believe that it could be included in the fee paid to the hotel, but at least it helped to keep me out of the business for those days. All in all the Hotel is great and we would return to it on any chance.

I understand that things happen and a hotel cannot control everything however my family went to Disney for a week long vacation and we had all the following issues at this hotel:
1) first room was infested with Mosquitos and our infant (as well as us) ended up with multiple welts from the bites--the finally agreed to give us a new room because we were uncomfortable with them spraying chemicals (again, we have an infant)
2) Within an hour of the move we realized our baby's no tear bath didn't make it--and it was no where to be found and the Hilton could do nothing to assist us so we had to pay for a taxi to find a local grocery store to buy more
3) The cleaning service only visited our room ONCE during our stay and only because I hunted them down and asked them--and then they didn't do a full cleaning but we did get clean towels, it would have been nice to have some clean glasses for drinking
4) At 12:30am one morning security let a stranger into our room and woke up our infant--management didn't even approach us about this incident, we had to ask about it--Shouldn't they have checked the guest registry and an ID before opening our door to a stranger????
5) The hotel deactivated our room keys the day of check out instead of waiting until 11am (the check out time) so when we left our bags in our room to do some last minute shopping before catching our shuttle at 10:30am we came back to a surprise- went to the front desk to correct--they got to wrong again, had to call security causing us to be a little late to our shuttle
6) One of the contracted bus drivers to shuttle guests to and from the parks was extremely rude to guests and actually tried starting a fight with one of the guests one morning

To top it all off, I wrote Hilton because I was rather displeased and the manager sent me a two day voucher good for 12 months at his hotel in Orlando--I live in Virginia and just returned from a family vacation in Orlando...While it was a nice guesture it seemed more like a marketing ploy than a true apology for poor service, lack of management and an overall bad experience of a guest.

On a positive note, the hotel is in a good location, buses did run on time (most of the time) and the bed was comfortable.

This particular Hilton has some age on it, as some other people have commented before me, but recent upgrades to the lobby and proximity to Downtown Disney (DTD) make it a good choice. Upon arrival, you are greeted outside by staff who take your luggage right to your room. Check in was smooth and uneventful. If you are an upper tier HHonors member, I'm told you'll get some nice benefits here. I had a deluxe junior suite, with a view of DTD. This is essentially two basic hotel rooms combined. One very, very small bathroom. Two double beds with a pull-out sleeper sofa. Nice for some extra room for kids to run around. I found the staff to be very good.

One of the best things about this hotel is the proximity to DTD. If your room is on the side of the hotel where the pool is located, a one minute walk out that door will put you at the entrance of DTD. Hint: In the morning, you've got the whole DTD to yourself without any crowds. Two excellent breakfast choices at DTD are Earl of Sandwhich and Wolfgang Puck Express. Bus transportation to the Disney theme parks ran from the hotel every half hour, and I found them to be very much on time, even during peak travel periods. The benefit of being at this Hilton is that you are the first pick up and the first drop off from the bus, which also serves three other hotels on the same street. You also have access to official Disney transportation, but you'll need to walk to DTD to catch those buses.

Skip the Italian restaurant in the hotel--"Andiamo." Over-priced and poor quality.

My family & I were fortunate enough to take a trip to this Resort for a reduced rate if we agreed to tour the new Parc Soleil by Hilton Grand Vacations Club is a new Timeshare Resort. (That facility is Fabulous!) So we decided to take a Family Spring Break Disney Vacation with the offer. This Walt Disney World Hilton Resort is just across the street from Downtown Disney Marketplace, which was one of the many bonuses. Other bonus were:

~ We were given access to the Disney Extra Magic Hours during your stay. During Spring Break the Magic Kingdom was open from 8 am to 4 pm, if you were able to take advantage of the extra Magic Hours...isn't that AMAZING???

~ Free Shuttle transportation provided to ALL Disney parks which made us decide to cancel our rental car as we would have had to pay $10 a day to park at the hotel and $14 to park at the parks! So this shuttle saved us well over $400!!! Sure, you may find yourself waiting for them a bit or standing on a crowded shuttle, but we figured the pay-off was much better than our little bit of inconvenince.

~ There is a 24 hour convenience shop open on the main level with a wide selection of food & snacks as well as a nice Disney Souvenir shop, which is where we bought our Magic Kingdom tickets to save the hassle of waiting in line at the park to purchase tickets there.

The hotel staff, Ashley (I think) who was from VA was very welcoming and checked us in very quickly! The hotel was very clean and the room was a nice size with a great flat screen television. The bed was extremely soft & comfy to us all. The bathroom seemed a little "dated," but atleast it was clean!!!

We ate at two of the resturants which are conveniently located on the main level of this beautiful hotel. First we ate at the Italian Bistro & Grille called "Andiamo!' The food was SO GOOD!!! Our server, Neri was very kind and accomodating when he found out the Lobster Ravioli I ordered was no longer available, he then offered to make the Shrimp Scampi with Risoto which was an apppetizer into a main dish AND he gave me the Insalata Andiamo for FREE! Then he and the manager on duty gave us free desserts (which were also delicious) because our entree's took a little time making it to our table! A++++ for ANDIAMO's!!!

The second resturant that we ate at, Benihana's, was very good as well. It's a good idea to make a reservation as we were turned away due to an 1 1/2 wait time our first night there. We were seated at our table and given a WARM wet hand towel called oshibori, then our waitress who was VERY cordial, kind and quick served our drink and took our orders. Our chef, name Dan was entertaining, funny and quick! The food he prepared was delicious from the soup, salad, sushi to the main course...this was my first Benihana's experience and it was a great one! I was happy to “Itadakimasu!” =o)

This is a GREAT hotel and we had NO complaints. And we've stayed and some really nice hotels in the past and are VERY picky! You should definitely give it a try if you want to save a little money and get all the other Disney perks (transportation, extra Magic Hours, etc.). Don't miss out, especially as the parks can be VERY expensive, that was the only part of our trip that I could not find a discount for!

I had heard great things about this hotel from a few people and decided to stay there during a recent Disney visit. It's literally about a stone's throw away from Downtown Disney Marketplace area by walking. You are also given access to any and all Extra Magic Hours during your stay and there is full transportation provided to all Disney parks as well as Downtown Disney.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and had me checked in very quickly. I was also given a complimentary Wi-Fi code for being a Hilton Honors member (sign up before staying if not already a member - FREE!). There is a 24 hour convenience shop open downstairs, great fitness area, and other wonderful little restaurants and Disney themed shops. The hotel was very clean and I could tell the staff took great pride in their upkeep and work. Television was a perfect size, desk area was comfortable, and bed was extremely soft. The rooms also have a sink both inside and outside the bathroom, so you can brush your teeth even if someone else is showering.

Only had a few, relatively minor complaints. The thermostat would only go down to 68 F. Not a big deal for someone like me who likes it a little warm, but could be a dealbreaker for other people. Also, the shower drained slower than you would like, so that toward the end of the rinse you would be standing in a small puddle. The continental buffet is not worth the money for breakfast if you only have one or two people (if you get it free for a family, go for it), as you would better off getting something else in the hotel, at the park, or just across the street at Downtown Disney.

Other than those few complaints, this is a great hotel. You should definitely give it a try if you want to save a little money and get all the other Disney perks (transportation, extra Magic Hours, etc.). You can get a King room which is comparable to a Disney deluxe priced resort for about 1/3 of the price! Don't miss out, especially as the parks can be expensive on their own as is. You won't regret it.

The hotel is very clean; rooms are also very nice and clean. Transportation to the parks is wonderful. Food is ok.. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and we had to send our food back because it came out cold... and mine had no taste.. but service was good. Just not the food.
We also did not like the fact that the pool bar closed at 8 PM and food at 6 PM, so when you come back from the parks ready for a nice cold drink and a dip.... do not expect the food or drink.
The small Market is very nice...but again in the middle of peak times only one attendant...she was nice but could not keep up...she did try very hard!!
Overall I would come back... I understand sometimes is hard to find staff.
