This hotel was a great solution to a last minute trip to Disney. We were able to book a room the day before arriving and at a very good rate.

What we liked about the hotel:
We could walk to Downtown Disney
We could park our car securely on the property
The shuttle service was timely and convenient
The room was nice with a nice view of Downtown Disney

Room Tip: We paid extra for a room with a view of Downtown Disney. While it was nice, now that I know what Do...

The resort was nice to stay at. The employees all were very nice. I feel the rooms are a little overpriced for what you get. It is very close to downtown disney.

We spent three nights at the Hilton for a recent conference my husband attended. We had a king room that faced towards the main entrance of the hotel on the top floor. During check-in (before we even went to the room), it was discovered that we had been checked into a room that had not been cleaned. We were automatically upgraded to the executive/concierge floor which gave us access to the continental breakfast each morning and "coupons" for four free bottles of water from the mini-fridge as well as codes to use for free wi-fi. (this may not seem like a big deal but when the waters cost as much as a case of water each, it's a nice perk) The room itself was spacious and we had an awesome view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks each night we were there! We were told ahead of time that there would be an extra charge of $30/night for a rollaway for our three year old so we brought our own small inflatable bed for her. Luckily there was enough room on the floor for her small bed after we moved the large chair an ottoman.

Breakfast consisted of three kinds of milk, three cereals, four different yogurts, three juices, two different coffee/cappucino machines, ham and turkey slices, american and swiss cheese slices, oatmeal, two types of melon, pastries, toast and bagels (and all the toppings). I was surprised there weren't more "hot" items like eggs or waffles but there was plenty to make a meal of.

The bellmen and valet guys were great! They were knowledgeable about the area and were very friendly. Sometimes you get the feeling valet guys are being friendly just to get a tip, but not this staff. The guys were genuinly interested in how your stay was and took an interest in our daughter was well; asking her what she did and what she liked.

We used the outdoor pools a couple of times and found them to be sufficient. There are two large pools, one children's size splash pool with a small fountain the kids can climb on and two hot tubs tucked back away from the main pools. We did not have anything from the outside bar so I can't comment on that part.

There are three restaurants on the property (Andiamo's, Benihana's and Covington Mill) as well as a small convienient store. The food at the convenient store was expensive but you should expect that from a hotel in a resort area; afterall, you're paying for convenience.

There is parking on-site and I think it was around $10/night for self-parking and $18/night for valet.

The only negative I have to point out is that housekeeping checked on our status at 7:30AM day of check-out. I figured they were trying to get a jump start on cleaning rooms for the next batch of guests but it's so annoying for those of us who wait until the last minute to leave (or wake up).

Overall, I'd say we had a great stay. The room was clean and the houskeeping staff even added a personal touch by incorperaging our daughter's stuffed animal into making the bed which she got a big kick out of.

Room Tip: They may charge more but ask for a room with a view of the fireworks. I would estimate that anythin...

Spent 4 days in disney, this hotel is in an excellent location with complimentary shuttle buses that frequently drop off and pick up at all the disney parks. Friendly staff and ver clean, modern rooms - thought the market street deli in the lobby was great for breakfast coffee and bagels. This hotel is a 5 minute walk from Downtown Disney which is great for in the evening. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would have no hesitation in staying here again

Got away to Orlando for Halloween weekend to eat at Vito's Chop House and some fun scares. I almost always book hotels through Priceline, no exception here. Very nice hotel, little bit old but not worn. Lots of rooms, some suites with balconies I think. Requested two doubles instead of king, small bathroom with additional vanity/sink area outside. I sleep light so I enjoy a quiet hvac system and this one was. Nice pool area, twin level hot tubs both open till 11 P.M. Decent little sports bar in lobby, snack menu till midnight. In addition to their own restaurant they have a Benihana's on site. Downtown Disney within walking distance. $10 for self park with in/out priveleges.

Some of the other reviews don't even sound like they are talking about the same property! We travel a lot and you can overlook an older property condition in a high traffic area if the service is good and if the staff remedies any problems. Our room was not ready on check-in, but the front desk brought our keys to bar where we were having a late lunch. The bell service had already taken our luggage up. We used the business center, same day laundry service, package handling, and conceirge services-all with excellent results. Our room had "crazy ants" that don't sting and maintenance handled it right away. Housekeeping was friendly. Our refrig/mini bar had been accidently unplugged and we had no cold drinks the first day. We ate at Benihanas in the lobby and it was very good and reasonably priced considering the venue. We used the 24 hour market to purchase breakfast foods and drinks. The conference area was suitable for our meetings with average food service. The bar prices were high but not unexpectedly so for the resort location. Food service was good. Employees and staff were friendly and helpful all the way around. We used the bus service to get to and fro Epcot one evening which was convenient. Downtown Disney is within walking distance. Nice pool area. Would stay again.
