Staying at this hotel was overall very good. The Italian and Japanese restaurants were amazing. Some of the prices for food are a little expensive, but I guess that's to be expected at a Walt Disney area resort hotel.
A HUGE CUDOS to Rocki in the bar ar the Hilton Orlando L.B.V. She is AMAZING!!! She ALWAYS greeted us with a huge warm and welcoming smile and hug, remembered our drink order (after the first time) for a party of 6, was very pleasant the whole time she worked, and belive me, she worked ALL THE TIME!!! She was there from the opening of the bar and often stayed far past her scheduled shift, even working double shifts.
She DESERVES at the very least, a raise or an award for her commitement to making everyone's stay enjoyable. Not only us, but to other patron, she was fabulous!
We didn't have enough time to enjoy the pools, but next year we will make the effort and perhaps stay a little longer.
The ONLY downside, was the shower curtain had a slight moldy smell when it was moved. Time to replace it.

Hi Tina, thank you for the review! I love reading about our Rock Star Rocki, she is amazing and we will certainly let her know how appreciated she is by our guests as well! I do apologize for the few hiccups you mentioned, and will certainly look into it.

We hope to see you in the next show!

My family (wife and 20 something daughters) just came back from spending three days here for our short vacation. Hotel is right across the street from Downtown Disney which is very nice for shopping and eating out. There are buses to the Disney parks and they come every thirty minutes. I will let people know that these buses do not provide the same service as Disney hotel buses, these buses will go to multiple parks so you trip may take a bit longer. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable with the standard hotel features. We had a room with a balcony which had a very pretty view. There is a cafe in the hotel for people to pick up breakfast (juice, milk, pastries etc) which is nice but the line can be long in the morning due to there were only two cashiers working. The hotel has a very big fitness center with plenty of exercise equipment. The hotel property also has swimming pool, basketball court and tennis courts for those who enjoy sports and the tennis courts were in good condition. There is plenty of parking but it is a bit of a walk from the hotel lobby. Checking in was handled promptly and professionally and concierge desk was also helpful. Overall, this is a quality hotel for a vacation in Orlando that is not just about going to the Disney parks. The only negative was that every day we had to ask for additional towels and wash clothes because housekeeping did not leave enough for the family.

The overall stay was wonderful. The food prices are a little high, but the excellent servers ESPECIALLY Rocki in the bar made up for that. The Italian and Japanese restaruants are GREAT! The rooms are kept clean, and the only complaint is the slightly smell of mold on the shower curtain in our room. Time to change it. Maybe next time we will be able to enjoy the pool, and will stay a little longer.

The service, rooms and upkeep of the hotel are excellent. But breakfast is not included and it's $19 for the buffet. Internet is not free either, another $10.99. Parking cost me another $21 per day. I prefer all inclusive hotels, maybe it's just my fault. You decide!

The proximity to Downtown Disney and the efficient system of buses to the Disney Parks made this an excellent choice for our Disney vacation. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a great hotel for our stay in Orlando with a couple days at Disney. It has a very nice location, just a 5 minute walk to Downtown Disney. It has free shuttles to the Disney parks and one of the advantages of this hotel is that on the buses that we rode, it is the first stop on the route before picking up at two other nearby hotels, so the bus it isn't full when it arrives. Although we didn't use this feature-they tell me that on the days that certain parks have extended hours for guests that stay in Disney owned hotels-that feature also applies to this hotel. There is a nice pool area with two large pools, two hot tubs and a kiddie pool with lots of deck chairs. There is a Disney store inside the hotel and I wish we would have known that before standing in line for over an hour at Disney Guest Relations to purchase park tickets at Downtown Disney. The rooms are OK, typical Hilton property rooms, but the closet was larger than most and it had the biggest room safe I have seen-plenty of room for stuff you don't want to take with you for the day. It's nice to have a separate room for the tub/shower and toilet from the sink area, it makes it easier for two people to get ready at the same time, although more light in the sink area would have been nice. Because it seemed like quite a few of the people staying there were attending conventions or meetings, it was nice to stay close to Disney attractions but not at a hotel totally geared towards kids. Being so close to Downtown Disney, there is plenty to do at night with shopping, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Since we were there during spring break, many of the Downtown Disney restaurants were packed, so we just came back to the hotel to eat in relatively peace and quiet. We tried Andiamo for Italian and John Ts Lounge for drinks and late night appetizers and they were both good and reasonably priced. There is also a Benihana restaurant inside the hotel, but we didn't try that. We just thought it was a very nice hotel for adults visiting Orlando and Disney-it would be perfectly fine for families also, but it just seemed a little quieter and better for us than one of the Disney owned hotels. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: A room with a view of Downtown Disney with the theme parks in the distance is nice but I wouldn'...

The staff here are more concerned with up selling rooms or packages than keeping customers happy. I was up sold a room for an extra $50/night and was told it was bigger, had a nicer view, and the same size beds as the room I originally booked. We arrived in our room to find that the beds were doubles instead of queens. When I called down to speak with the manager that up sold me this room, he said, "oh really? Well, we can move you to your original room". I said, "does that have a pull-out sofa sleeper?" He said yes and then once we were packed up (after a long day of flights), a girl called our room and said, "sorry, the room you are moving to does not have a pull-out sofa". I was very upset that we were being told all kinds of misinformation and playing musical rooms, so the manager called again and I expressed my frustrations, only to have him say, "I'll make a note on your file that you'll be calling corporate". I called corporate and no one did a thing to make this right. Never staying at a Hilton property again.
