Stayed here because I had a conference at the Hilton across the way and decided to have the family tag along. Great hotel. We had a king room with bunk beds in the alcove. We asked for a view of the fireworks and were able to view the Epcot fireworks from our room. They're not spectacular but it was nice to see. The bunk bed alcove has it's own TV, the room is a generous size, well stocked with amenities. I would definitely stay here again. You can tell it has been recently renovated - all the furnishings are very tasteful. My kids enjoyed the pools and all the other amenities looked nice as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the pool on the 7th floor or higher to see the fireworks

My husband and I spent 6 days at the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek during March break, we were also there last year at the same time. We returned because of many different reasons, the resort is kept so clean that for someone like myself that is a neat freak it's perfect. Never any garbage outside, pool side is never littered with empty cups or leftover food, the rooms themselves are tidy and very kept up. We even saw them steam cleaning the carpets in front of the elevators one morning after someone spilled beverages all over it. We enjoy all that this resort has to offer, not only about 5 heated pools, but a lazy river that you can float away in until 11pm - which we did. There is also mini golf, shuffle board, a gym, restaurants, out door BBQ's that you can use and so much more.

The resort is also very centrally located, an easy drive to downtown Disney or The Crossroads for dining or shopping. We had rented a car $20 a day, from the other Wyndham ( they'll come and pick you up) and we put 500 miles on it. We drove from Daytona to Clearwater - not all the same day. The only downfall of this hotel is the $16/day they charge for parking. But all hotels have a fee for parking, in Clearwater we paid $22/night.

Lastly, the staff are amazing at this Hotel. Charlie and Elizabeth are so accommodating. Let them know their Canadian (pizza bearing) friends say Hello! I highly recommend that you give this Hotel a try!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view and make sure when you book that it's the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek locatio...

Very nice hotel and resort property. Super-convenient to Disney parks, yet in a quiet area surrounding a lake, with easy access to highways for travel to other attractions.
We found our room very comfortable, large and clean. It had a balcony as noted in the "deluxe king" room description. Only downside was that we had requested a pool view based on TA reviews, to see the nightly fireworks over Disney, but were placed on the opposite side of the hotel. However, the room looked out over a beautiful golf course and neighboring hotels (Waldorf, Hilton), which was fine.
Dined at the BackBay poolside place twice for lunch=good, breakfast at buffet in Tesoro=OK, but very noisy and hectic, and dinner at Deep Blu=excellent. Starbucks kiosk in the lobby was an added bonus, especially for a quick breakfast before heading out to the parks.
Service and staff we encountered were attentive, from the start to finish of our 4-day stay. We did not find anyone to be overly-friendly, but everyone did their job well, and seemed happy to answer questions, assist with driving directions, etc.

Here for a conference in the hotel across the road. Very friendly staff particularly concierge who was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Clean good gym. Didn't try restaurants; breakfast okay. Many pools but excruciatingly small, really only good for young children. But then it's a family hotel... My criticisms: Parking is outrageously expensive, particularly given the large number of bays that are empty even during spring break. Most frustratingly, the room walls are very, very thin. I could follow my neighbors' conversations. Not conducive to a good nights' sleep.

The Wyndham Bonnet Creek is an outstanding resort with a number of amenities. There were numerous pools for the kids (10 & 7) to choose from, including a lazy river. The activities center, playgrounds, and putt putt course were a hit with the family. The property is beautiful.

There were a few negatives that prevent me from giving Wyndham a 5 star rating, but overall we were very pleased with our stay.

The room was as expected, although the room we stayed in did not have a balcony and the windows did not open. Having two queen beds was a must, as the standard two double beds or single king doesn't cut it for two adults and two children.

The base room rate was reasonable, especially given the proximity to Disney. However, the little costs really added up during the three nigh stay. Self parking was $16/night, and the resort fee was $18/night, and we were informed that shuttle service to Universal would be $6/person, each way. The shuttle was free to Disney, but there were some debates among guests if that was still true.

The breakfast buffet was nice, but over priced $20 for adults, $10 for kids, and a better breakfast can be had if you go off property.

The other small negative was the isolation of the resort. There was nothing to go to within walking distance (off property), and you had to drive.

Overall, an excellent resort, and we would most likely go back the next time we stay in Orlando. It was a better experience than we have had at other resorts in the area with a similar price point.
