This stay was average. The room was average, gym just okay, the accommodations were average, and food was average. A group of 40 stayed here ages 0-55 overnight before a cruise the following day. Check in was slow, because there was only one person checking us in, however she was very nice. The shuttle from the airport was on time and the driver was very friendly. The lobby and other common areas looked new and refreshed. Rooms seem a little dingy and old, could use some refreshing. I was hesitant to allow my baby to crawl on the floor, because of this. The couches were also dirty. The room was very tight for my family or two adults and 1 child. There was very little walking room where the bed was located in the suite. The other parts of the room seemed clean, including the bathroom which was a plus. The free breakfast was decent and what you would expect. The food never ran out, however the choices were limited. Was nice to have that included and not worry about getting breakfast later, so it saves money. I believe breakfast ran from 7am to 10am, I may be slightly off. All of the suites were about the same, visited a few different ones and some had the same outdated issues. My aunt’s room had dirty tiles in the kitchen and dirty sofa as well. I would say to go somewhere else for a long term stay and I would choose another option if I had to do it again, although it met our group’s needs. I think I will stick with Starwood, Hilton and other brand hotels. This is my second sub-par experience at an IHG hotel.
