We usually stay at the HGVC on International Drive and stayed because the point system drops at Thanksgiving which other HGVC owners may find attractive. Long story about a minor issue but point is that Simone at the front desk was very gracious when I arrived and the rest of the staff continued that warmth. Families will enjoy the location and not far from a grocery store and Discovery Cove. I feel that the pool and play area is a bit more children-friendly than the International Drive location (which is still very nice). it offers more play options and small secluded areas that kids enjoy making their own. The adult pool at the other end is quiet and welcoming. A golf course running along the back of the property makes this a quiet and lush location. FYI - we stayed in a studio and it was smaller than International Drive and the drawback is the minimal furniture on the screened balcony. No table to sit down to; instead a small plastic drink table. If you don't plan to eat outside not a problem. For us, we rely on the patio table to eat meals. The inside does have a small round table and chairs but our computers needed that so we could stay connected to our work. If you need space to stay connected, consider a one bedroom or larger suite. All in all we liked savings the points, it's closer to my hot yoga location (can walk) so a good trade-off when all is considered. Would return with the grand kids some day (in a 2 bedroom!). Great pool for kids and handy convenience store.

We are HVC members but had never stayed at this property. We were visiting family near Orlando but also wanted to visit Sea World and see what was new at the park. Be sure to stop at the concierge and get the free Quick Queue tickets. We were welcomed warmly at this property-even at the end of the day by the woman at the gate.

Pros: Lovely well kept property with numerous pools. We especially liked having breakfast at the Coral Reef cafe overlooking the pool. All the food we had here was delicious. We also had sandwiches from the deli that were very good. Prices were reasonable. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is close to SeaWorld, outlets and many restaurants. We walked to Bonefish Grill. There is a free shuttle stop to Sea World just outside the property.

Rooms and beds are very comfortable.

Cons - Our room (Hamilton Building) was in the center of everything with our patio overlooking the hot tub-maybe a bit too close to the action. There is also a music speaker there that would come on at 8 AM -one morning very loudly. There is a clock tower on the main building that gongs every 15 minutes

The walking path around the lake on this property (unlike Tuscany/International Dr. property) is very natural and forested so I did not feel safe walking here alone. The open part runs along the highway.

Overall a nice place to stay.

One of if not the nicest properties we have ever stayed at. Numerous outdoor water options with pools and hot tubs. This place is well run. Enjoy it as much as we did. Rooms are out of this world, super spacious and very clean

Outstanding experiences from the moment we arrived, during our stay, and when we checked out.The pool was perfect for the kids, the activities were very appealing to everyone and the staff was very helpful in providing directions and guidance to evry point of interest. All in all, it could not have been any better of a stay.

Was looking for a quiet weekend visiting friends and this place provided exactly what I was looking for, the patio was a great place to visit after dinner and there are a wide vareity of bars/ restaruants to visit within about 10 min if your cab driver can figure out where he is going.

This is my second stay at HGVC Seaworld and it was just as good as I remember. What I love most about this property is the privacy afforded by the separate villa-type set up. This time of year also means the pool wasn't crowded each time I used it, the car park was readily available and there was always a spot to park in, even when we had two cars.

When I checked in I was offered the choice of a high floor room or lower. I chose high floor because it is generally quieter and we had the bonus of overlooking the fireworks at Disney. The rooms are quiet in general, so you should have no problem wherever you choose a room unless it is in a pathway used by guests or right near the elevator.

The location is fantastic - the Seaworld end of I-Drive is quiet and less touristy and never packed with traffic. It is also easy to get around everywhere from the hotel.

The maid service comes late but that suited us because we generally slept in a bit and then set out for the day. They change the towels but not the sheets - I suppose this has to be requested. The apartment has a fridge, stove and all amenities needed for a short or long stay.

We had a problem with the dryer and maintenance came and fixed it and it was ready for us to use pretty much as soon as we got back. No complaints there at all.

What I hate about this property is the lift. There is ONE lift to service 6 floors and it is slow as slow can be. As long as this is the case, I can never give this property five stars.

TIP: to avoid the incessant sales calls at 9am or earlier, take all phones off the hook :) We were never bothered at all!

My husband does a lot of business in Orlando so I go on occasion and join him so I get to stay in all kinds of hotels. This hotel is great for families as it is more like an apartment with a small kitchen, washer and dryer, living and dining room, a good size bedroom and large bath, sliders that go out to a screened in porch or what we call here in Florida a lanai. I always look for certain things when I stay. Like a good bed with high quality sheets and pillows and a clean and modern bath which this room had. There was a large screen TV in the bedroom and the living room with a dining table that seated 6-8. The couch pulled out but they do have two bedroom suites as well. As a woman who stays in hotels quite often, I need a wall mirror to put makeup on that has good lighting and a hair dryer that is better quality. They provided neither. Overall this hotel is one of the best in Orlando that I have stayed in.

Room Tip: Try and get a room not on the highway side as it is a bit noisy. There are five or six buildings to...
