Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld
Ranked #143 of 342 Hotels in Orlando

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights after I finished a cruise. This property is located around the corner from SeaWord and a short drive to Universal and Disney. I was able to check in to the hotel early and also received an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite.
The front desk staff were very helpful and efficient. The room was very clean and tidy. The kitchen area was also very clean and fully stocked with all the dishes and cutlery a person would need.
The pool area is very attractive and clean with plenty of chairs and towels for everyone. There is also a restaurant and bar in the hotel that offer typical American food, Pizza Hut and assorted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
I would recommend this hotel to families staying for a long period of time or anyone looking to visit SeaWorld Orlando.

Hotel has been mostly renovated with a few exceptions like the dishwasher. Very clean, excellent location if you want to be close to all theme parks and outlet shopping. Very courteous and helpful staff. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. Free WiFi, free parking, free breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

I knew as soon as I walked into the reception I wouldn't like this hotel and I was right. The check in staff are all very young, but all very helpful, but they also have a desk flogging property who can be quite pushy.
The rooms, whilst spotlessly clean, are tired and very dated, particularly the bathrooms. I also didn't like the fact that people can bring pets, as the room had a funny smell.
The breakfasts were the worst as the hotel is so big but the size of the breakfast area cannot cope with the demand. Added to which they have food out, like in school, where you queue and spoon very un-healthy stodge on to your plastic plate with your plastic knives and forks. Alternatively you could queue for an age for 1 of 2 toasters and have toast or bagels or chopped up melon. Nasty. You then have to look for a table to sit down at and at times I saw people sat on the floor as there just wasn't enough space.
The pool area didn't look inviting, although they did apparantly provide you with towels, but again just not big enough for the size of the hotel.
Lastly, location wise, there are far better places to stay that are more central for the same money and are much nicer. This hotel is only handy for Seaworld, and even that's a walk. there are no nearby restaurants and the only other food they serve there is all fast food (pizza's and burgers), so you have to drive everywhere. I wished we'd stayed on I Drive as it's just as handy for all of the parks and at least you can walk to places at night for eats etc. They've also spent quite a bit of money on the central section of I Drive (Orlando Point etc) so it's really quite nice.
Overall cheap and nasty

Stayed from 4/30-5/9 this is our 3rd stay at this hotel , the rooms were very quiet close to seaworld and housekeeping never bothered us, would I stay here again? i'm not sure our stay was good and the rooms are roomy and love the full kitchen but I think the price is too high for this hotel granted it offers full breakfast and the hotel and sauna were great kids loved it the TV'S really need to be upgraded, in Orland there are many choices. The staff is awsome and the hotel itself was clean but did find old trash under the beds and around corners of our room don't know if I will return for a 4th stay but overall good stay.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years, unfortunately like with other Marriott hotels in the Orlando area the quality at this hotel has deteriorated. Elevators were out of service making for very long wait times. Hallways and entryways were dirty and there were too many unattended children running around. Cleaning staff were very loud early in the morning outside my door causing me to wake up. I personally had to complain at the front desk but it happened again the next morning. The breakfast area needs to be reconfigured and provide more seating area - unless you are the first one to arrive it will be crazy and will not be able to sit at a table. The pool water was not clean and smelled bad. Finally as others mentioned, the TV's are small and do not offer many channels. Overall I am not very pleased with my stay and have noticed that this hotel is not at the standard it once was. The rates being charged are not in line with the quality of service provided or expectation of a Marriott property.

Stayed here with 15 other guys on a golf trip to the Orlando area. (2 per room). This was set up through a golf trip travel organzier and we had a prepaid rate, so it's hard to comment on/compare the value. The hotel was quite accomodating, close to many of the premier courses in the area, had sumptuous hot breakfasts and excellent service. The hotel is quite large and the elevators are located at the ends of the hotel, which was odd, but makes sense with this large a complex. Employees were friendly and quite helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with excellent maid service. I would return there in any capacity...

Lovely hotel with vey helpful staff. We were "stuck" there during the volcanic ask saga and they did everything possible to help. The pool is excellent and the bar/restaurant/pizza hut came in very handy. The rooms were large and clean - no complaints at all.
