This was a nice unit that we spent an entire week in over Thanksgiving. It is close to everything, lots of good places to eat nearby as well. I really liked having a washer and dryer in the unit and a full kitchen which we used a lot. Never got to the exercise room or pool. I did have to clean the unit after moving in and finding dirty dishes in the cabinets and the bathroom had hairs every where and upon alerting the office, was dismissed. Some sort of construction was going on the entire time we were there and there was lumber and various other things outside of our window the entire time we were there as well. At one point could hear entire conversation of people in adjoining unit...very uncomfortable.

Room Tip: ask for a corner room, not one inbetween where you have people on each side since walls are so thin.

We booked this room for 4 people and got what in time share lingo is called a lock out side. The unit we were in is actually used to make a two bedroom unit into a 3 bedroom unit. We had a private bedroom for 2 persons with queen bed that was so hard I could not sleep at all, a very small kitchen area that the sink was so small you couldn't even wash dishes in it. For persons 3 and 4 we had to use the sofa bed. Those things should be outlawed because they are never comfortable. When you let the sofa bed out for the night you could not get around in the kitchen/dinig/living area at all. To us it was a safety hazard in case of a fire. You basically had to crawl over the bed to get to the front door. The rest of the property is nice. Everything clean, a Cracker Barrell right across the street. Just a shame about the room.

Room Tip: If you ever use this place tell them 5 or more persons so you get a real 2 bedroom.

We are RCI members. We rented two one-bedroom units, one for us, and another for our kids (2 couples). With another daughter and son in law living in Kissimmee with a new baby, I had no idea what to expect in terms of hosting everyone at the condo for dinners, etc. The units were amazingly spacious; we had no problem accommodating all 9 of us for the evenings in one condo or the other, with no trouble. In fact, we ate dinners that we actually cooked ourselves, 4 nights out of 7! That has to be a record. The kitchens were well-stocked and easy to work in. This isn't the resort you'd go to for lots of on-site activities, but even situated as close to Hwy 192 as it is, it was very quiet. All the young adults enjoyed the pool. The staff was very helpful in putting our two units on the same floor of the same building, and we weren't bothered by incessant "sell" calls either. Proximity to Disney, Universal, Celebration, and malls, shopping etc is excellent as well. There are several restaurants within a 5 minute walk - also a CVS and lots of other convenient shopping opportunities. My only complaint, and it's not a terrible thing, is that the wireless internet service and 4G network accessibility was kind of erratic. But we didn't spend much time on the computer anyway. All in all, we would highly recommend.

Room Tip: The one-bedrooms did not adjoin or connect in any way, but were just down a few doors.

This older resort is a hidden jewel.. the property is clean and updated. However, the staff will do anything they can to make your stay there your best vacation ever. Everything about Kissimmee is old... even most signs are faded. But, this resort is worth the money, close to all attractions, and close to many restaurants. I didn't give them a 5 star because they put us in a handicap unit without telling us. However, they moved us and all went perfect after that. :)

Before my trip, I found it difficult to get info on the public transportation in the area of the hotel. I called the hotel several times to find out info on the public bus service in and around Orlando/Kissimmee but everyone I talked to had no idea. With just 2 of us going we weren't sure if it was worth it to rent a car and we considered booking shuttle service back and forth (to/from airport, to/from theme parks, etc) or taking the public bus (LYNX). We ended up renting a car and we were so glad we did. For anyone debating whether or not to rent a car or using shuttle service/bus, I highly recommend renting a car.
The area near the hotel is great because there are tons of restaurants up and down the main road. There is also a CVS right up the street from the hotel. The Publix supermarket is also nearby and that helped a lot because there are no restaurants at the hotel!
The hotel itself is nice. It is clean and they provide pretty much everything you need in the little kitchenette. The weather was cold while we were there so we didn't get to use the pool. The couch pulls out into a bed but it is very uncomfortable.
One thing that was frustrating was lack of parking. Most of the time we had to park a little far from our unit.
It's an easy drive to Disney and took only about 15 min.

Spent a week at this Wyndham Resort after the cruise. I would rank this as one of the best timeshare rentals we've had. Clean, spacious and newly renovated. Rented it thru RCI promotion for an excellent weekly rate. Everything went OK from check-in to check-out. They were trying to promote the time-share sales at check in by offering freebies etc. We declined and they were ok with it. Not pushy at all.
The grounds were beautiful and very clean. The security is very good, every few minutes, a security guard would drive by in his golf cart.
The condo has very spacious 2 BR, modern kitchen, flat screen TV, free WiFi. Huge living room and very large master BR with jacuzzi tub and a separate walk in shower. Each bedroom have their own bathroom which is wonderful.
Our balcony (screened) faces the pool and every morning at 7 AM the music starts. After the 3rd day, I found out they came from the decoratve rock speakers by the pool. After explaining the situation to the pool attendent with my limited Spanish, next day it stopped and did not come on till 9 AM.
There are several restaurants (IHOP, KFC, Denny's), CVS is across from the parking lot, all within walking distance. There is also a Publix and a super Wal-Mart near by (need a car).
This place, I think, will be our go-to place in the Orlando area for my next golf vacation.

Room Tip: All the units are fairly similar and good!
