While we've dined at the Rose and Crown a few times, we had never tried the fish and chips shop and I'm glad we finally had a chance to try it.
I enjoyed the fish. Tasty batter and the fish was moist and flakey. I've had better chips (fries) but these were disappointing. Boring, and pretty much tasteless.
Line moves quick which is a plus.
Seating is a bit confusing. There are tables in an area to the right of the little shop, but there are also tables further to the left of the shop. A lot of people don't know about this area. You walk in past the check in area for Rose and Crown and then go to your left. It's confusing because it looks like you're walking into the outdoor seating area for the Rose and Crown restaurant, but, it is the seating for Yorkshire Fish and Chips. Great tables right by the water. Perfect cheap meal and a great view!
