This was our first time staying at this chain. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The woman at the desk taking care of shuttles and park tickets was super helpful. After driving over 1000 miles straight through, we arrived well before check in time and were tired. Our rooms were not available for early check in but they let us use the pool and hot tub while we waited. The shuttle to Universal went smoothly and it is a quick trip. The extras such as the breakfast and food choices in the evenings were great options, especially since we have teenage boys! Wendy's is right next door which was also a nice option for the teens. The adults enjoyed happy hour when we were back from Universal to take advantage of it. The pool area is somewhat small for a large hotel and was very crowded the first day we were there, it was difficult to find a chair. That was on a Saturday, it wasn't nearly as crowded the next few days, but the weather wasn't very nice either. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would try the chain in a different location too.

We stayed at the Drury Inn Orlando March 10-15, 2014. We had 3 rooms for 8 people. It was an amazing stay, clean rooms, comfy beds, great food for breakfast and snacks and the staff was FANTASTIC!!!

Let me tell you this...If you are looking for a way to save money on your vacation, book this hotel, you won't be sorry! In the morning, fresh eggs (not powdered), biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, potatoes, yogurt etc... In the afternoon, Mac and cheese, soup, salad, baked potatoes, pasta and chicken nuggets. Stick to the ribs food to keep you full at the parks!

Say hi to Vicky (the chef) and Dorothy (front desk). They are so friendly, no matter what time of the day it is! When I was leaving, I went over to say goodbye to Vicky and we hugged like we'd known each other for years.:) The management staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. The food was fresh and the afternoon snack was a real hit with the kiddos. Plus free popcorn and fountain drinks too! We estimated for 8 people we saved over $250.00 in food expenses! Thank you Drury Inn, see you next year!!!

This was a perfect hotel for the price.

It's very clean. I think it's fairly new. It offers a variety of added benefits, like an included hot breakfast and an included happy hour with hot snacks and drinks.

The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable.

I stayed in this hotel for a conference. While the conference area was pretty compact, the rest of the hotel was roomy and inviting.

There's a large area near the front desk where breakfast is served. There are plenty of tables and a buffet. The section is transformed into a bar with happy hour snacks in the evening. (You can't buy drinks at the bar, but each room gets three drinks per evening. The happy hour ran from 5:30 to 7 p.m.)

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

In addition to clean, comfortable rooms, the hotel boasts a very nice workout room with a few state-of-the-art treadmills, an elliptical, stationary bike and a small weight set. The pool has an indoor section and an outdoor section. There's a roomy hot tub outside as well.

I didn't go to the parks, but I believe the hotel offers easy, quick access by rental car to the Disney and Universal Parks. The hotel is also within a 10-minute drive to the airport and within a few minutes drive of a nice shopping and eating district.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Drury does not disappoint! 3 days before our trip we decided to cancel a condo reservation and book a few nights at Drury because we knew we could count on them to have a clean, comfortable room ready for our family after a late flight, and a hot breakfast waiting the next morning. The room was a very generous size for a basic hotel room, but with a mini-fridge and microwave. Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean as well. Staff was very friendly - from the front desk at check-in to the cleaning staff that obliged my 7 year old by writing back to her "thanks for cleaning my room" note, to the manager that stopped and had a 5 minute chat with us over breakfast about our plans, our stay and how our trip was going. None of them had to take that time, but they did. And while the hotel was almost filled to capacity, the pool area, breakfast/kick-back area and other common areas were clean! This speaks volumes in my book to the attention the staff gives the property. Even though meals were busy, staff worked hard to keep things filled. The food is not gourmet, but breakfasts are consistent and offer many choices, as do the 5:30 kick-back menus. This hotel is located in a location very close to Universal Orlando, and I-Drive activities. Walt Disney World Resort is only about 20 minutes away as well. We would highly recommend this (and other) Drury properties to our friends and family. Thanks Drury for doing things right!

Room Tip: There is road noise on the highway facing side, but from the 8th floor it was more "white noise" and not a problem.
