“Club level one of the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 December 2013

I have been to many Ritz Carlton Club levels. This is one of the best!. Service is impecable. the manager at the club is a very nice guy, and his management of the club flow down to the employees who appear to be very happy there. Logan was great making us Cosmos. The presentations were great. They have a kids room that was very handy to have the kids not getting bored. In general great stay.
It was my birthday and they sent me white wine which was nice.

The receptionist recognized that we were repeat customers and was able to upgrade our room. The room was lovely with an outstanding view of the water. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to explain many of the hotel's amenities. The fitness center and spa is shared with a J. W. Marriott which is next door. We used the fitness center twice. It was well equipped and had towels, water, etc. There is a great walking path along the water and the golf course. There is also a ropes course. We ate at three of the restaurants, Bleu, the golf restaurant, and the main restaurant as well as a banquet. All the food was outstanding. The best buy is at the golf restaurant which had huge salads. It is a short walk to the J. W. Marriott for its restaurants. There is also a Starbucks there.

Room Tip: A room on the back of the hotel will overlook the pool or the water.

From the second your car is valet parked and doors are whisked open for you into the beautiful, cool marble lobby with fine furnishings, you just know you are going to have a good stay! We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for eleven days from mid to end of November and enjoyed every day. The bedrooms are lovely, with everything you could want, including a decent hair dryer! Being fussy about beds, we proudly thought our bed at home you could not better, as we have sampled many upscale hotel beds over the years and none could beat it, but this bed did, it was like sleeping in a cloud.....believe me, you will not want to get out of it!
The grounds are beautiful and cover a large area, so good for walking or a morning run, if you can prize yourself out of that bed! The Ritz Carlton is linked to the JW Marriott ( where we have stayed twice before with our children, but feel the Ritz is definitely the more grown-up of the two hotels).
The whole hotel has an air of tranquillity about it, with a clean scented fragrance everywhere, beautiful décor and acres of polished marble. The lobby extends into a large lounge with lots of sumptuous seating and views over the pool, lakes and golf course. You can certainly unwind in this hotel, no matter how hectic your life.
What also makes this hotel so good are the staff, nothing is too much trouble, they were all attentive without being annoying, gracious, polite and interesting to talk to. Everyone knew their job very well and the Ritz should be very proud of all of them. The ability to make each guest feel special, is special indeed.
There are nice touches that you would expect in a good hotel, bowls of fresh fruit and iced water ready for the early morning joggers, same by the pool and attendants ready to get your day beds sorted in a flash. The large silver and glass urns in the lobby were filled daily with fresh chilled lemonade to enjoy and then on the day we left, as there was a cold snap, the hotel laid on hot chocolate and marshmallows. My husband said the golf course is very good and we can both say the same of the Spa.
All the restaurant food and spa food is excellent and they are happy to go 'off road' on the menu if you have a different request.
The one area we think could have some improvement, would be the breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit smoothie shots e.g., banana or strawberry would be nice. A better cut fruit selection too, as it was mainly sliced melon, pineapple and strawberries but this got a bit boring after eleven days. Blueberries and additional fruits in season would be welcome as with bowls of dried fruit e.g. cranberries, figs, apricots. Apart from that there is nearly everything else you could want to eat.
We would highly recommend this hotel, it has everything for a wonderful stay and will definitely become a firm favourite now with us. However, I really do hope that the management will ban ball games from the swimming pool. The day I was by the pool there were three young boys playing very noisily, as ball games generally are (!) with a hard rugby type ball in the pool. I decided to use one of the pool floaties, but had to keep one eye fixed open all the time in case a ball was launched accidently in my direction! It was hard to relax! Now, I did not want to spoil the boys fun and their parents seemed oblivious to the problem for other guests, so they carried on and I got out. This pool is just not large enough for ball games and our own children always loved the lazy river/pool at the adjoining JW Marriott (you can use either) so please Ritz Carlton, can you put a stop to ball missiles in your pool?! In hopeful anticipation! Apart from that a perfect stay.

We were spoiled by a gift from parents to stay here and boy did they pick the right thing. We stayed just 2 nights on our way to another destination and the whole experience was magical. It was more to relax than anything and that is exactly what we did. The bar in the lobby was a great spot to hang out before or after dinner. The grounds are spectacular and they obviously pride themselves on them. The service from every staff member is perfect they must have hand picked them just for the way the approach you. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

This Ritz Carlton has it all - Nice location, beautiful grounds, and lovely rooms. The hotel has been tastefully updated since our last stay here 4 or 5 years ago. It's lighter, brighter and with a modern touch. The lobby bar is especially inviting.

The fitness center is very large and well equipped but the grounds are great for jogging, too. Run out the main drive, turn left at the entrance and run to Publix and back and it's a 4 mile round trip.

Any room you book will be fantastic but I recommend an executive suite (or better). They're very large and just beautiful with 2 separate balconies if you get one on the ends.

Book a room with club lounge access and you can't go wrong. Presentations are nice and especially tasty and change several times a day. Small portions are great so you can try several different items. The only things that aren't small are the cookies. I've never seen such giant cookies in my life. Wow! The service in the club lounge can't be beat. Trish, Michael, James and Logan along with others were all very attentive. Logan, being the youngest, is especially impressive since he is already so poised, well-spoken, and a very interesting person. My husband especially enjoyed James.

It was cold on Thanksgiving morning so we headed to the hot tub and then enjoyed the beautiful pool area. We used wifi which worked perfectly without the need for so much as a log in screen.

We enjoyed seeing the Gingerbread house being built for Christmas in the lobby. It smelled as good as it looked. It was a nice touch to have little gingerbread men cookies in a bowl available for guests to sample.

If you want the best, this is where you need to stay. The ladies and gentlemen of the Ritz Carlton will take care of you in style.

Room Tip: High floor rooms facing west (the pool) will have a view of the theme park fireworks at night.

Stayed here during a business conference. Very impressed with everything about this hotel including the staff - first class. I was found a couple of times wandering the hallways looking for the meeting rooms and every employee I passed, regardless of their job, asked if they could help direct me. They honestly seemed to care about my stay.

You can stay anywhere. It's the people that make the difference that you'll remember. Marriott always excels with this.

From the moment you arrive, you know that you have arrived! From the landscaping, grand fountains, wonderful entrance and marble floors and green bamboo fragrance, very welcoming and refined. Check in was a breeze; the children sign in area was a nice touch. The lobby was small but opened up to a wonderful viewing/sitting area. The elevators whisked you up to your room, which was a maze of turns and halls. The carpeted halls, with classic overhead dome lights and sconces were well lit. The suite on the corner was well appointed; marble floors, mahogany and resort classic furniture, two balcony's and a wet bar. The master bedroom had both a chase lounge, king size bed (OMG, so comfortable), writing desk and dressing area. The master bathroom was elegant with double sinks, a tub small and a massive walk in shower. The bath products are luxurious and suitable for both male and female, not too sweet or manly; they should be available for purchase in the gift shop by the end of the year.
The only negative was the coffee maker is located at the wet bar but the cups, coffee, tea and condiments located in a drawer in the master bedroom under the television. There is ample unused space in the cabinet at the wet bar, totally illogical storage space for the coffee supplies.
Since were were there on business, we did not have the opportunity to utilize the facilities, but plan on another "leisure stay".
The eye for detail and service make this a great resort experience.

Room Tip: Corner rooms provide more room and a great view.
