The sidewalk that circles the lake is 0.9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. Other activities available to park visitors include renting swan-shaped paddle boats, feeding the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park, seeing a concert or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, grabbing a bite to eat at Relax Grill on Lake Eola or relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando's skyline. Parking is free on Eola Drive on the east side of the park and there is metered parking on Central Boulevard and Rosalind Avenue. There is also street parking in Eola Heights and Thornton Park, a two to five block walk to the park. You can also park in any of the garages within a few blocks of the park. These include the Post Parkside parking garage at Osceola Avenue and East Central Boulevard; the Paramount/Publix parking garage at Lake Avenue and East Central Boulevard; and the Library parking garage at 112 East Central Boulevard. If you want to see the real Orlando (away from I drive), take the 20 min trip to lake Eola.

Rental boats and swans, couture stores, and fun watering holes will make it worth your while.

We stayed in downtown Orlando to avoid the theme park madness. This downtown park was a nice surprise and a great place for a morning walk. It's about a 1.5 mile walk around the lake with lots of ducks, swans, and turtles giving a show. If you look carefully, you'll discover a few swan nests. Like any city park, there are a few colorful street people mixed in with the joggers and business people.

Weekends are full of festivals and farmers market… It is always a fun little walk and there is a Panera with a nice outdoor seating area. Something is always going on there. When there isn't anything going on be sure to enjoy the wildlife and light show of the fountain. Pay attention to where you park. :)

A little extra spare time on our vacation allowed us to explore this beautiful park In Downtown Orlando. It was an escapade being away from the usual crowds of the overwhelming theme parks encompassing Orlando. We reached the park at about 5.30pm and had no trouble parking our car which was by the way street parking. Took a lovely stroll with the kids and our mums whom were very thrilled to see the black and white swans and geese. You get to see the real residents of Orlando here with an abundance of joggers, families with their kids. We loved the park. Au Natural. Perfectly a romantic setting for couples yet ideal for families at the same time.

Beautifully set among the midst of high rise office buildings and backed with jazz music in the background set a scene for a clam & soothing environment just as you would like to get away from the hustle and bustle of theme park oriented Orlando. An entirely different experience and a wonderful way to unwind. The kids pretty much enjoyed the playgrounds and refused to budge. The whole place was very clean as well. We stayed till sunset and boy were we glad that we did as it was such a beautiful sight towards the later part of the evening as sunset sets in and the fountain begins to light up.

Was a pleasant visit to Lake Eola. Will recommend should you have spare time and want a break away from the usual theme park spots.:)

Went to a craft market here. Right in the heart of downtown Orlando, a very scenic Park and Lake. You can hire Swan boats $15 for 30 minutes, which takes five people.
