Description: Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon carpaccio. Invent your own meal. Dining in such a way permits the rules of wine pairings to step aside like snooty impostors, and what goes best with dinner is exactly what tempts you. Santiago’s Bodega is a good-natured, low-key, food-lovers hangout, a neighborhood restaurant. - Margit Bisztray

The food was good, small plates. Wine options also tasty. Service was attentive. Parking was limited, even weeknights were crowded. It can get loud. The decor is odd, but we like quirky. Fresh flowers and candles on the somewhat small tables. We tried several of the dishes, and enjoyed them all.

New American cuisine (eclectic yet at the same time continental) tapas, good drinks, and great service sound like a fun night? Then I have 2 more words for you - Happy Hour! At the moment it's sort of a nice little secret, but I doubt that will last long. As a final word of advice, be sure to save room for dessert.

Delightful restaurant serving yummy tapas just the right size. Found that your restaurant in Altamonte overdoes the portions and was not so good.
The beef special was particularly good. Loved it all. Staff very attentive and helpful.

I've been here a couple of times already and the place is very consistent. The staff is excellent! They follow up topping off drinks and asking if we need more pancakes, french toast or omelettes! The buffet is ridiculously good. Prime rib, rack of lamb, a chorizo rice, scalloped potatoes... just to name a few! The place has a great vibe, great food, and great service. I love coming to this place and can't wait to go back!!

Overall we had a great night out at Santiago's we had several different tapas plates and a couple of them I would not have again for instance the wrapped Portobello was mostly pastry. Overall it was a nice experience well worth a visit.
