Description: 50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

This restaurant was awful. Upon not wanting to eat my peas, they were forced down my throat by a deranged waitress named memory. I will never return to this place. It is the most terrifying place in Disney World.

Themed dining- "Mom's Kitchen" we had a great time & thoroughly enjoyed the themed dining. My son's friend jumped every time the waitress told someone to "get their elbows off the table or eat your vegetables first." The food was good, but the desserts were delicious.

My son's friend who was traveling with us has a peanut allergy. The restaurant was very accommodating & they were able to make suggestions. Also he was able to get dessert that is prepared in a nut free bakery.

If you are at Hollywood Studios looking for a great place to eat - this is it. Ask for Jen Mills as your waitress and you will have a one of a kind experience just like eating at Grandmas House years ago.

Great dinner-real home cooked type dinner which was needed after so much fast food! Waiter was male and was really hoping for female "Mom" type waitress. Male was okay but saw other "Moms" who were really into character. Dinner prices are very pricey and for family of 6 came out to $200 so be prepared! Well worth it though since this is Disney :)

WE have eaten here 5 times in our 8 trips to Disney World. It is fun and delicious at the same time. The theme is a "mind your manners" type of environment. The wait staff does an honest job of being in character as they teach you to keep your elbows off the table and eat your vegetables.

The menu is all-american favorites like fried chicken, meatloaf, pot roast, and chicken pot pie. I had the salmon and it was very tasty and a bigger portion than i have had in years past. If you are utilizing the Disney Dining, this meal is 1 table service. All in your party must have arrived before you can be sat. The wait for us was longer this time than in years past. We sat at 25 minutes past our reservation time. You won't be disappointed.
