“Expensive, but worth it for meal with Disney Jr. characters”
Reviewed 19 February 2013

This is the 2nd time eating here, the first time was dinner for the Fantasmic dinner package this time a character lunch because my son just loves Special Agent Oso. Our lunch reservation was for 1130, we arrived around 1120 & waited for about 20 minutes to be seated so about 10 minutes passed our original reservation time. I'm not complaining as there were people walking up to try & get in for lunch and were pretty much turned away. PLEASE make a reservation for ANY character meal or you're most likely going to be turned away.

Once we were seated all the characters were already walking around interacting & taking pictures with everyone. Our server, Topher, was adorable! He was such a pleasant character to deal with, I was very happy having him take care of our table. The buffet lunch was okay, Dinner was better last time in terms of variety, but the main reason why we went was so our son could see & take pictures with Special Agent Oso. When he arrived at our table he spent enough time interacting with my son & I was able to get lots of pictures with my son & him. Of course the kids are too busy watching the characters & the show put on in the dining room to eat, but we (myself, husband & 16 year old daughter) enjoyed the food.

As with all Disney restaurants, if you are not on a dining plan get ready to pay big bucks for these character meals. Worth every penny if your little one(s) enjoy themselves, the excitement & smiles are priceless & we wouldn't hesitate to do it again maybe for breakfast next time.

“Character breakfast great for kids”
Reviewed 11 February 2013

My kids love Jake and this was the only place to meet him. We made a 9:15 reservation and were able to get into the park at 8:45 ahead of the lines. This was key, as we had time to get a Toy Story Mania fastpass and sign up for Jedi training before our breakfast and beat the crowds to those lines. :)

The breakfast itself was pretty good. They had just about any breakfast food you could want, including made to order omelets and breakfast burritos.. My kids were most into the Mickey waffles and sweet rolls. It was nice to have fruit, yogurt, and other healthy choices, too. The characters came pretty quickly, which was great because my kids (6 and 3) were really excited to meet them. Each character took a picture with the kids and signed their books. Every 10 minutes or so they sang a song and encouraged the kids to participate. We could have stayed as long as we wanted, but we were out within 45 minutes because we were excited to explore the park. The meal was definitely worth it to meet some favorite characters!

“First time visit”
Reviewed 9 February 2013

We booked our reservation here due to the VIP ticket that you get for the Fantasmic show- what a great choice.
They had some great food selections, including a carving station with two offerings. Make sure that you try the creamed corn/ cornbread offering- it was out of his world.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone- it's a definite repeat when we get back to Disney World.

“Disney Jr. Character breakfast...awesome!!”
Reviewed 4 February 2013

This was our second trip to Hollywood & Vine for the Disney Jr. character breakfast. We love the characters & they come by often so lots of opportunities for pictures, autographs, etc. The food is awesome! Chicken sausage, hashbrown caserole & Mickey waffles are some of my favorites! They have a made to order omlete station too that was a hit with my group. Lots of yummy fruit & pasteries too! Our server was great & attentive. We will definitley go back during our next visit to Disney!!!

“My entire family loves this place”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

For some reason it has had a bad rap, but we ate there again last week and it was great. Attentive service, huge variety of food, and a fun theme. The lobster crab macaroni and cheese was to DIE for ! I all always enjoy their hearty wheat bread with apple butter. New this trip was chocolate dipped fruit on a skewer.........yum.
