We stayed 4 nights in building 2 in a 3 bedroom condo that we rented on VRBO. Our unit was enormous! It was clean, modern and very comfortable. The hotel lobby was immaculate and the common areas near the elevators were clean and seemed freshly painted and carpeted.
The pool with the pirate ship was SO much fun. It was mobbed but this added to the excitement. There didn't seem to be any supervision at the pool however, as every rule that applies to pool safety was being broken- running, diving, back flips, shoulder rides, etc! You'll want to watch your kids closely.
The complex is safe, and conveniently located off the highway but is not as close to the parks as many of the other hotels. There are free shuttles to the parks that you have to sign up for, so you don't have to pay to park at the attractions or fight the horrendous traffic. Our staff interactions were all positive. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: The fireworks at Disney were spectacular and I would request a fireworks view if available.

Myself, girlfriend and son (9) stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in May, it was my girlfriends first time in the US. Once we got to the hotel we went to reception and were greeted by Max, he quickly checked us in (and checked us out) and he was very pleasant. Apart from the TSA officer who we didn't really know if he was being serious or messing with us Max was the second American my girlfriend spoke to and she was pleasantly surprised how nice he was. As for the hotel, its very close to the Disney parks, basically just round the corner, Universal and Seaworld are 20-ish minutes away. Walmart is just down the road and its close to fast food and restaurants. You do need a car, the hotel provides shuttles but they only run at certain times and as i understand it it's twice a day. We were leaving some parks at 2/3pm as it was getting too hot or we'd done what we wanted so they wouldn't of been convenient. I didn't utilise the cleaning service, we just cleaned up ourself so i can't comment on it, it's no stretch to a little cleaning and trash removal.
The grounds are spotless, we stayed in building 3, tenth floor. The room was ok, maybe the furniture wasn't all that new and had a few scuffs and scratches but that didn't detract from the convenience of having your own self contained flat with multiple bedrooms. The master bedroom had a king size bed and i was able to sleep in it ok. The pirate ship pool is quite cool, the slide is often closed when a life guard isn't present, but the bar is nice, if not a little expensive. One thing i though and heard a few people mention is that the pool area is cut off from the sun long before sunset so can get a little chilly later on, its a shame but nothing major. If i had some complaints it would be that the balcony was quite harsh to walk on, you definitely need flip flops, the trash disposal was on the other side of the building and that the dishwasher was crazy noisy. Point is - and i said this on checking out, i had no problems, i didn't need to ring reception and the only staff i saw was checking in and checking out.

This resort is situated central to all parks and amenities. Although free buses are available I would state that having a car is essential to get the best from your holiday.
The resort is well used and shows this in wear on carpets etc. BUT, everywhere was both clean and tidy. The rooms we shared were very clean and the bedding and towels were all crisp and clean. There is an extra charge for room cleaning and a change of linen but this is not necessary as all amenities are in the rooms; washer/dryer, fridge, oven, etc. In our room there was a shortage of glasses and cutlery but this did not detract from a very enjoyable two weeks. The pools are very well kept and are good for families with children, as well as singles or couples. All in all "a very well situated and pleasant holiday resort". We will definitely use this resort again next year.

Room Tip: Rooms to view Disney fireworks displays are available in building 5; another PLUS.

Just returned from a two week holiday in a 3 bedroom, two bathroom apartment at the Lake Beuna Vista. The decor in the bedrooms were a little dated as noted on some reviews but the apartment was really big and airy, everything was clean and everything worked. The beds were really comfortable and we had no issues with the furniture, it was very comfortable. We were in block 5 on the 4th floor in a room adapted for a disabled person and it was perfect for them, with a walk in shower, grab rails where needed and easy access around the apartment with a wheel chair.
We coiuld also see the fireworks from the Disney Parks from our balconey
Because we couldnt access the shuttle bus with the wheelchair the hotel very kindly paid the cost of the taxi to and from the Disney Parks, we were not expecting this so it was a massive bonus and saved us paying a fortune to hire a WAV.
The receptions staff were very friendly and really helpfull, especially William and Natalie and Karina.
The pool was brilliant for the kids ( and adults )
I cant comment on housekeeping as we didnt use it. ( vacum etc was provided in the room and I just whipped around twice in the fortnight mostly to pick up the toddlers mess)
The onsite shop was really expensive but we were only paid 6-8 dollars to go to Walmart.
The onsite Irish Bar, Frankie Farells cooked up some really lovely meals and i though the prices were really reasonable.
The hotel is perfectly situated for all the Disney Parks, they were all within 10 - 20 mins in all directions.
I would certainly recomend this hotel to friends and family and would definitley stay there again.

Room Tip: Block 5 seemed to be an ideal block, just behind the reception and was very quiet.

We stayed at this wonderful resort for 11 days,I can add nothing else that hasn't already been said. We were in block 5 with a pool view, the apartment was spacious, and spotless. It was fitted out with all we needed. The front office staff went out of their way to be helpful no problem was too small. We at at the hotel, had a pizza, and shopped at the factory outlets. My grandson swam in the pool everyday and loved it. We used the shuttle to get to the theme parks with ultimate ease. i would recommend L.B.V to anyone looking for a great holiday. If I had a gripe, a car would have been handy as we used cabs most of the time, but that would mean I would have to learn to drive on the other side of the road //Thanks to you all.

Had 10 days with my family here on vacations. Close to all Disney parks and many other attractions, restaurants and stores. Very good apartment (100 m2) with full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It was clean and the staff is very polite. They gave me a complementary late check-out.
Price is good and I would return and recommend to friends.

Visited here with my family of five, lovely hotel nice pool and staff were friendly, shuttle buses were right outside the hotel every day but will be hiring a car next time as shop on site is very expensive compared to wal mart just down the road. Min taxi fare was $10 to Walmart which was steep so def hire a car if your going here! The average taxi fare was $25 one way even to go for a meal anywhere so it will add up by the end of your stay. Rooms were clean and spacious loved the washing machine and dryer as I had no washing coming home woohoo! Cant fault the hotel will def stay here again :)
