“Good central position”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

Went as a family group of 13 spread over three apartments. I was on the third floor of building 5 in a three bedroom apartment. The apartment was very spacious, the main bedroom had a large double bed with a jacuzzi bath as well as a large walk in shower. The other two bedrooms were large and there was bathroom with bath and shower close to these. The kitchen had all appliances including cooker and microwave. The apartment was fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer which was a godsend. The apartment was clean although some of the carpet and furniture looked dated.
The pool area had plenty of sun loungers and at no time did it seem over crowded. The pool bar does snacks and is not too expensive. There is a small supermarket in the resort but very very expensive - go there as a last resort, there is a Walmart and Publix supermarket very close and the fridge in the apartment can hold lots of food and drink.
The resort is close to all the Disney parks and there is a courtesy bus (which is covered by your resort fee) available - but you have to book in advance. I would advise you to hire a car for getting about - taxis are quite expensive.
Overall i would recommend this resort - the only problem was the reception staff who had different ideas of what had to be charged when we arrived. Our room paid cash to cover the resort fee but later discovered it had been charged to the card we used to pay the security deposit - despite speaking to reception and a manager this was not sorted until the last day of our holiday.

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the carpark - there is and added charge for rooms overlooking the pool.

Stayed three weeks in a three bed in May 2014. It's really very good - apartment is comfortable, and the pirate ship pool is excellent. The kids were very sad to leave our new 'home'. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back!

Room Tip: The three bed is enormous. We could easily have fit our 5 member family into a two bed!

We stayed here on a ten day trip to Disney and other parks. The accomodation is very spacious and well maintained, has great on-site facilities and is ideally located for all the various parks. It's also very easy to find when driving in from the airport too. All in all a fantastic place to stay near International Drive.

The hotel is good for families who want an apartment type room. I was a bit disappointed with some details on the property: dirty floors on elevators and entrance (I stayed on building 3); carpet on the hallway leading to the apartment also hasn't seen a cleaning in a while. Inside the room, a lot of details showing that it needs some investment in renovation. Not a terrible place, just "OK". We also could listen to what was going on on the room next door, so a bit noisy.

as my first trip to the states was very impressed with the very well kept clean hotel. the flat was very clean and well equipped. very pleasant concierge staff very helpful and polite lots of parking a supermarket 1 mile down the road ask staff for what it should cost which was $8 but ask for a price before getting in as the taxi, as they will rip you off if they can . well kept pool and bar shops for clothes adjacent to hotel. free shuttle to sea world is 1 out 1 return you can get a idrive ticket from hotel across from seaworld so you can use free shuttle for international drive and premier outlets , Disney 1 morning time out 6.30pm or 10.30pm return. universal was morning time out 1 return time 7.30pm so you are restricted as the shuttle does not run constantly

Room Tip: I asked for block h which is pool view high floor

I am rating this four stars for the absolute value. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat!

We arrived to a 4 bedroom in Building 1 that had a bit of a funky smell. We went back down to reception and Nathally immediately moved us to another 4Br place in Building 4. This room was a little more run-down (stains on the carpet in the living room, sofa more worn down), but had an amazing view over the pool area, and was closer to walk to the pool, and had a much larger dining table (you oculd fit 10 people) Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working in there, and it was missing some toiletries. We went down to reception again and Max was kind enough to order the A/C repair (done within a few hours) and toiletry replenishment (we had to ask twice, but got what we needed).

The condo is HUGE! The two master suites on each end are enormous. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, plus laundry, an enormous living area, what must be a 600 sq ft deck, and a nicely remodeled kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, some utensils, and some cooking vessels, but if you want anything particular, you need to bring/buy it. We went to the Super WalMart down the street and bought dish towels, cookie sheets, and other utentils to supplement the stash.Remember, there is *no* food here, so you have to stock everything for your meals, including salt/pepper/spices, ketchup and mustart, butter, etc. They are a little skimpy on towels (average one per person),but if you ask for more you can get them. The linens are okay, the bed was moderately comfortable (I am very picky and I was okay with the bed), and the pillows a little hard (but still okay).

Now to the good stuff. We had a party of 9 people and probably could have squeezed more in there. Everyone had their own private space, there was a great separation of space/noise, with two rooms on one end, the living space in the middle, and two bedrooms on the other end. We heard some noise from the other units, but only when in the living area. I heard nothing from other rooms or outside the condo when we retired to our bedroom. We went to Disney World one day, and explored fun stuff during the other days (go karts, air boat rides). This location is extremely central, just a 5 minute drive to Disney. So easy to get around. There is an outlet mall literally behind the hotel (you can walk there) and another fancier outlet mall with high end designer stores that is a 5 minute drive.

By having a kitchen, we saved hundreds, if not thousand dollars of food while there for 6 days. We also ate much more healthfully. We ate breakfast there every day (cereals, oatmeal, pancakes, bacon, eggs), packed our lunches (sandwiches & snacks) and made easy dinners (burgers, pasta, etc). We only ate out a few times during our trip, and realized just how expensive it is! Restaurant food sure adds up! We were grateful to have our full kitchen.

The pool area was insanely fun, and the highlight of the trip for our 4 year old son (even over DisneyWorld!). There is an Irish Pub/Restaurant on-site, a Pizza Hut express, if you are so inclined. There are also hundreds of restaurants within a 5 minute drive, so there is no shortage of food nearby.

The hotel spa is amazing. I ducked out for a quick massage and it was worth every penny. Very professional, relaxing environment, with very skilled massage therapists.

Warning: The cleaning service was a joke. We ordered the expensive cleaning option one day mid-week. They essentially changed the linens and made the beds. They did *not* clean. We notified management and they sent the cleaners back the next day, and the same thing happened. I would advise springing for the linen change/bed-making option (cheaper) and not trying to get a full cleaning.

So overall, there were frustrations with the room. But at $250/night, it was well worth it, and we would do it over and over again!!!! Having everyone in the same condo really made our family vaction cohesive and fun. If we had to stay in separate rooms, we would not have been able to have the quality time that we did.
