My wife and I attended a wedding held at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando and it was simply beautiful. We stayed the night as well and the service / accommodations were terrific.

“Not really a Ritz”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

We stayed at the Ritz for a night last week. We were excited about staying at the Ritz and for a great rate from orbitz which we prepaid. When I checked in they charged me again for the room even after I asked them if they were just going to charge my card for incidentals. Well in the end they ended up charging me for both and it took 5 says to release on my credit card. The room we stayed in was very small and not very well apportioned. We ask for a crib for our son and the crib was dirty and old. We decided to stay in for the night and had very OVERPRICED room service that was no better then airport food. As a Ritz, this really is a disappointment!! The hotel is connected to the Marriot which had cheaper rooms and a great lazy river. Don't waste your money thinking you are heading to a RITZ!!!

“Nice, but others are better.”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

Nice course but the layout is very plain and almost boring. There is not much to the course. The condition is excellent and the service was topnotch. But overall, it is just an ok course. Grande Pines is a much better layout and far more enjoyable to play. If you have extra time play here but only after you tried others like Grande Pines and Grand Cypress.

“Engagement surprise holiday-and we were completely blown away!”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

Far exceeded expectations- the hotel and surroundings are as beautiful as we anticipated- and it's a real bonus being able to use the Marriott facilities as well which is located on the same complex- but what really made it for us was the exceptional quality of the staff. From arrival everyone was extremely friendly and attentive, but most memorable of all were the poolside bar staff Jason and Michael. Both these lovely gentlemen really made our special occasion so memorable, really went above and beyond the call of duty and we can't thank them enough. The duty manager should be extremely proud to have these guys on their staff. Can't wait to come back, fingers crossed may do just that for the honeymoon.

“If you're staying you should be playing”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

Got in a round at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club during a business meeting. If you are staying at the resort then by all means you need to play. It may not be as nice as other Orlando tracks but for the money and location you can't beat it. It's a beautiful layout that's almost like being on "Wild Kingdom" due to all the wildlife you come across - this is Florida, you will see alligators sunning near the fairways or just cruising around the lakes. Don't get too frisky looking for balls in the water - remember they are easier to find at the pro shop. You are rewarded for keeping the ball in the fairway as the rough is sticky. The greens putted well. Greg Norman has done a nice job of keeping it challenging but not impossible for the average golfer.
