“Overnight stay at Rosen Inn At Pointe Orlando”
Reviewed 13 March 2013

We had a wedding to attend the next morning at a location close to this hotel which was why we were provided this room. The facility was a typical tourist oriented operation sufficient for overnight stay if one had a reason to be in this particular area. The room and furnishings were adequate, the beds were comfortable, the room had a 32" flat screen TV and a microwave. We had requested, and received a handicap access room on the first floor. The restaurant facility was just off of the lobby and consisted of a buffet that offered a good selection of hot meals at typical "resort area" prices. Seniors were provided with a 25% discount. The food was not fancy but was filling and tasty. Parking close to the room was not a problem, however even though we parked where we were told would be OK (we were towing our mobility scooters in a small trailer) we awoke to find a threatening missive on our windshield that if we did not move our rig it would be towed away at our expense. So much for friendly welcomes!

Room Tip: Good location for Sea World, & Universal Theme Parks as well as easy access to the Convention Ce...

We stayed at the Rosen Inn in March 2013 for 8 nights. For the price we were really impressed with the size and cleanliness of the room.
Sure they're a little dated but they are very comfortable and have a large TV and a fridge and Microwave which was nice. Beds were really comfortable and the rooms were serviced daily.

The pools outside the hotel are a reasonable size.

The Hotel does back on the I-4 Though personally we didnt have any noise issues.

Location wise it's perfect, the I-Trolly is just outside and there are plenty of restaurants at the pointe across the road although this area of international drive does get very busy on the weekends. Its also very close to seaworld and universal and some great restaurants including Ming court and Joes Crab shack.

We'd absolutely return to this hotel should we visit Orlando again.

Room Tip: High rooms would be better as opposed to ground floor thats backs on to the carparks.

Went on a weekend getaway with my wife and good friends. The hotel had a great location with the available I-Trolley for transportation. It was just across the street from Point Orlando with numerous restraurants and night clubs. The hotel staff desk staff was great and assisted us with our check in and a minor issue we had about our room being serviced. I notified the desk and they offered to have our room serviced promptly since it was missed. We declined the service, but they delivered the items we needed promptly. We are not messy people and sometimes do not have our room serviced when we travel depending on accessories in the room. We got a very reasonable room rate for our stay and was pleased to find the property well maintained and a joy to stay at. We tried their bar/lounge and they had live entertainment both evenings of our stay. Both entertainers did a good job playing good well known music that most people would enjoy. All members of our party enjoyed the hotel and we will stay there again.

We stayed at the Rosen Inn in Orlando on March 9 and 10 2013. This is a sister hotel to Rosen Suites located a block away.

The Rosen Inn appears to have been refurbished and the room was quite comforatble. The wall A/C unit kept it warm overnight, it was chilly, and comfortable for our short stays during the day. We enjoyed the entertainment provided in the lounge druing happy hour.

There were some minor faults. First the toilet would keep running if not attended to after a flush. A quick jiggle and that would clear. The only other issue was that when we returned after 6:00 PM Saturday evening our room had been cleaned but some used wash clothes were left on the floor and not replaced. A call to the front desk remedied that promptly.

The location of the hotel was worth noting. It was midway on the i-Ride bus route. This allowed us to visit Sea World one of the out let malls and restraunts without driving. Seniors, over 65, ride of a quarter per boarding and 3 day passes can be purchased for easy on - off access at a reduced rate. The normal rate is $1.50 per boarding. The busses are neat and clean and the drivers we had were courtious and helpful. This truely beats driving on International Drive in Orlando!

Room Tip: Rooms in D Building are closer to International Drive but far enought away to aviod noise.

My partner and I stayed here on our recent trip to Orlando and we were pleased to be told that we had a pool facing room. A nice surprise, considering we hadn't asked. However we were not informed we would be facing the I4 too. At first we were annoyed, but after the first night we managed to switch the sound of the traffic off and no longer noticed it.
But this was a such a trivial thing, we had a great stay here. MOST of the staff were friendly (watch out for the head security guard. He argued my PLASTIC Butterbeer tankard was glass and threatened to throw us out of the pool area). Large, cleans rooms (to a Brit anyway) It's in a great location with the i-ride and Lynx bus stops, restaurants, bars and shops right outside the front door. The 24 on-site is convenient, but there is a Walgreens across the road, which is also open 24 hours is much better value.

Over all I would definitely stay here again. Without hesitation.

We returned home from a trip to Orlando, Florida from March 2nd to March 9th, and had stayed at the Rosen Inne Pointe Orlando. It was a perfect place to get to all things we wanted to do. Our first day was a visit to the Titanic Exhibit which was a great display of authentic artifacts from the ship or from that period of time. The I Trolley stop was right across the street and the fare was .25 for me, $1.25 for my daughter and free for my 7 year old Great Grandson. The next day we went to Gatorland which has really grown from the last time we had been, and at night we took in the Dinner and Show at the Medieval Times. We went to Disney Magic Kingdom the following day and took a taxi there and back as we wanted to stay for the Electric Parade and Fireworks. The taxi service at the door of the hotel is fabulous, and you can usually make a flat rate deal and pick up after the show. This, once again was fabulous. My daughter had pre-arranged a Kennedy Space Tour for herself and Damien, and I opted for a day off, but they thought it was marvelous. Thursday was a time for shopping and doing what we wanted around the area, once again using the I trolley. Friday, we arranged our Disney Animal Kingdom trip through the Hotel Shuttle Service which was great, at $17 return trip each, and was just a few dollars more than what we paid one way for the taxi. However, the hours of service would not have let us see the Parade.

The hotel is very clean, the staff from the front desk, tour desk, maintenance and security staff were all very friendly, the grounds are beautiful, and with the microwave, it was convenient to pick up cereal, milk and necessities for breakfasts if in a rush, and snacks and supper (KD cups, etc., sandwiches, etc.) for supper - if we were just too tired. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay and would return if we ever go back to Orlando as the price was right.

I have only one minor complaint. To email, it was $5.00 for 20 minutes, and I did not agree with this charge. By the time you would connect to your email addresses, you would be at your 20 minutes, and we have been to hotels in Rome, Paris, Atlantic City, New York, and have never had to pay for this service.

All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and as I mentioned, would not hesitate to return to the Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando.

Room Tip: Try for the 4th floor, A building, facing the pool.

Just got back from a stay at Rosen Inn. We had been on a Carribean Cruise and just wanted a few extra days to wind down and relax in Florida. On first appearances it did not look great. However this was the only downside. We spent overnight there before cruise and requested the International drive side of hotel which we thought might be quieter for our 5 night stay after the cruise. Request was granted and we had no problems at all with either accomodation or staff. We had one issue with the hair drier which burnt out in the middle of being used. However we phoned Reception and it was immediately dealt with and was replaced to our satisfaction.
We did not use the restaurants as we found we were spoilt for choose so nearby. The choice of 3 swimming pools is excellant and the use of gym at the sister hotel a short stroll away was a bonus, We would definately stay there again.

Room Tip: We prefer side on Int drive and upstairs for quiet night.
