I researched this hotel online., read the reviews and found that I made the right choice.
Beautiful room, nice amenities, great location. The staff is absolutely wonderful. We had dinner 2 times at the hotel, sandwiches and they were good. If anyone is planning a trip to Disney etc, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: You can have a pool room or tower. We took tower room to avoid any noise.

From the moment we got there until the moment we left everything was perfect. Check in is at 4:00 but we got there at 9:30 am. I was going to ask if we could leave our bags while we went to downtown Disney and the desk receptionist said let me check to see if we have any rooms available and we checked in then. Paul the valet was excellent with his attention to us. We had a minor problem ( and I mean minor) in the dining room and the maître D Darryl took care of us and went out of his way for us. The room was fantastic, immaculate and loved the pillows. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Bob Milligan the executive chef was awesome and went above and beyond for us. We were here for a pageant and when we ran into some challenges he was very helpful. He had no problem multitasking to help us resolve our issues.

We stayed here for 7 nights as a family of 4 to go to Disney World. We loved this place. Thought it was good value for money and also included breakfast for adults and kids under 12 eat free. Check in was quick and staff friendly. Rooms very comfortable with a balcony and very clean. There was a coffee maker and fridge in the room. Staff only too happy to give us extra coffee bags when we ran out. The breakfast buffet was great and there is a small convenience store also. We ate dinner at the restaurant a couple of times which was good. Also a Disney gift shop. The pool area was spacious but the gym a little disappointing and needs some pilates mats for sit ups. There is a self serve laundromat, a little hard to find but there which is a bonus for long stays. It is only a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney. There is a shuttle at night but sometimes quicker to walk as it goes to other hotels. There is a shuttle to the parks each day which comes half hourly. Overall it was clean, comfortable and friendly and would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Just finished a 5 night stay at this hotel and could not be happier!! Why? The rooms were immaculate! The bathrooms (we had 4 rooms) were so shiny and clean you practically needed sunglasses to see! The beds were SOOO comfy, Heaven. Lots of divine pillows, down comforters... Rooms were spacious and had a mini fridge and a microwave! Also safes in the rooms. Big heavy curtains made the rooms nice and dark at night. Gorgeous pool. Fun surprise to watch the nighttime fireworks at the various Disney Parks from our balconies! A 5 to 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney! An on-site convenience/gift store and a pantry area to pick up coffee, quick packaged food (sandwiches, salads, yogurt, ice cream treats etc). And a fabulous restaurant where the food was DELICIOUS! The chef specials (coconut mango chicken with coconut shrimp...sweet potato ham soup..). Wow, that soup was to die for! We were able to personally thank chef Steve for his scrumptious, mouth watering creations. Plan on a cocktail and visiting because there can be a wait for food - but worth it for a relaxed pace, fine dining experience. And we cannot say enough about Said - that restaurant ran like a well oiled machine the night he was there. His friendly, top notch service was off the charts! Breakfast had great options - continental, buffet or menu. And the ultimate experience indicator? The hotel staff were amazing!! So friendly, courteous and responsive!! Definitely returning to this hotel!

Transportation tip: avoid Mears Transportation from this hotel!! They were a no show TWICE for our scheduled pick ups and also missed a pick up for another couple at our hotel. They apparently sent the shuttle to the wrong hotel? Three times?! After repeat verifications and address confirmation?! No excuses for that awful service!! We had great luck with cabs - $25.00 to Universal Studios and $46.00 to the airport. Taxis are right out front.

I have just come back home after a two week stay at the hotel and had a great experience. From the moment we got there we were welcomed by Christina, at the front desk, who was kind enough to give us great tips for dining and entertainment. The room was very spacious and clean, with a fantastic view of the fireworks from 3 Disney parks. It was nice to have a microwave and a mini-fridge, which helped us save a lot of money with restuarants and breakfast.

One aspect I do not feel enthusiastic about is housekeeping. On three days we had to leave in a hurry to get to the parks in time and did not have time to tidy up before the service, and when we came back in the evening, not much had been done to the tables and chairs. They probably avoid throwing packages and other stuff away so they won't be responsible for important things missing. That is the impression I had, at least. So on those 2 days, I had to tidy up the room in the evening again. All other days were fine, because we had plenty of time of making the room up before leaving, so there was nothing much left to do, only make the beds and replace towels and toilettries.

We rented a car, so we did not make use of the bus service, but many people who did were very pleased. Also, it was good to know we did not have to drive if we did not feel like one day or the other.

We had dinner at the restaurant twice, and were very happy. Tania, the receptionist was very nice. The food was mostly good, except for a seafood dish I ordered one day, which was clearly overcooked,

They have a little shop with Disney products and items like tablets and napkins. They also have a grab-and-go bar, which was very useful for grabbing a coke or a sandwich late at night.

We loved having free wifi in the rooms, so we would skype our family back home every day and check on weather and park reports before leaving.

I only had breakfast at the restaurant once, I think they should have more options of fruit and cheese, but it was good and plenty.

The price is great. Much cheaper than an All-star Disney, with much better rooms and service.

a tip: the rooms on the ground floor have little privacy. Ours was on the 6th floor and had great views.

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor. Rooms with the view to Downtown Disney were exccellent.

We spent Christmas and New Year at the Holiday Inn. We arrived from the UK and we were booked in quickly and efficiently.
The first room we were given backed onto the highway and was very noisy. We were quickly allocated another room which we took as we were tired. It had no balcony and the AC was noisy, we asked the next day if we would be able to move to a room with a balcony as we were there for 2 weeks. When we came back from our day out and Geraldo and Christina had worked their magic and gave us a room on the 12th floor with a DT Disney view at no extra cost.
Unfortunately my husband was taken ill whilst we were away and he had to spend 3 days in hospital the staff were very helpful and enquired regularly as to how he was.
The room were very clean and spacious with the most comfortable beds and the cleaning done each day by Nellie was always very good
We only ate on the first night and this was very good, but drink prices are a bit pricey.
Used the gym a few times which is small but functional.
Great location though for DT Disney and plenty of restaurants very close by.
We had a great stay in spite of my husband being taken ill, the staff were great Christina, Alex, Geraldo and Tia who all made us feel very welcome

Room Tip: High floors good with DT Disney views
