This hotel is so affordable without jeapordising the quality. Clean rooms, great pool, and the location is so close to Disney. They did this place right!
I find most places too expensive or like a cheap motel, but this hotel feels like you're on vacation, living upto par and not breaking the bank. We've been here twice already with our children and will do it again for sure.

From the moment we checked in to the very moment we checked out of this fine establishment 14 days later, all the lovely staffs we had the pleasure of making acquaintance were all so warm and accommodating. They made us feel first class every minute of our stay. I am embarrass that I am only able to remember a handful of their names like Gary, Kelly, Iman, Said, Jina, Gino and Letisia. We met most of them while we were dining at the Palm Breezes restaurant for Breakfast and dinner. They and many more of their colleagues have help to make our stay so memorable.

The free shuttles to all the four Disney theme parks was fantastic. They were punctual and runs every half hourly starting from one hour before the parks open to one hour after the park closes. We had no need for a rental car throughout the 8 days of our Disney experience. Downtown Disney was merely 10 minutes walk and the supermarkets and restaurants at "Cross Roads" was just 15 minutes away.

The buffet breakfast at Palm Breezes was marvellous. We just couldn't get enough of it till the very last day of our stay. We had two wonderful dinner there as well.

The pool was so nice and inviting but unfortunately we had no time at all during our stay to enjoy it.

Last but not least the room was spacious and spotless

We visited this hotel in late July and had a pretty pleasant stay. We were going to spend a couple of days in a hotel on our way home from a cruise. We got off the ship MUCH earlier than expected and showed up SEVERAL hours before check in. The room was not ready which was absolutely expected. However, the desk clerk offered to hold our bags and let us either hang out by the pool or suggested a movie at nearby Downtown Disney. We opted to walk over to Downtown Disney for a while and then have lunch before returning to the hotel.

The hotel is fairly close but might be a challenging walk later in the day (late July is pretty hot of course!). It took about 10-15 minutes to walk over. We grabbed a coffee and window shopped (it was very early) before going to a movie. It was very nice to have so much nearby and actually I jogged around the Downtown Disney area the next morning.

When we got back, our room still wasn't ready but a comparable one was so they booked us in there. We had requested a pool view room which I thought was better than the other. We were booked in the tower building. The other building has some rooms facing the Downtown Disney/Pool (although you can't actually see it) and some facing the interstate. All of the tower rooms overlook the pool. My only complaint would be that the pool is open until 11:00 and it was pretty noisy. We almost called down to the front desk to ask that they go out and ask folks to keep it down as it was difficult to fall asleep with all of the noise. So definitely request a higher floor but understand that tower rooms may be noiser later in the evening but the other building you may be facing the interstate. Bad view or noise, your choice.

The room was clean and comfortable and VERY spacious (especially after a teeny-tiny cabin on a cruise). The mattresses may need an upgrade soon but they weren't terrible. There is free wifi and a mini-fridge as well as a quite roomy closet and large balcony.

We did have breakfast downstairs our first morning there. It was pretty good but quite pricey. It is a resort so that is to be expected but $18.95 for the buffet seemed excessive. We ordered off the menu and it was somewhat less but still more than we would typically pay for breakfast.

My son also really enjoyed the pool and game room. The pool isn't really a fancy resort style pool but is large and clean with LOTS of tables and loungers. We were quite happy with it.

The hotels inside the resort also offer free shuttles to the four Disney parks. They arrive every half hour and were very convenient. They were crowded at night but ALL the buses are crowded at night. We were just happy to have the ride.

Parking is safe but not free. But again, it's a resort so not unreasonable at all. I think it was $12 per day which seemed fine to me. The other Holiday Inns in the area look more interesting and fun, but for the location and convenience, this really is a good choice if you are planning a Disney trip. It is right off of Hwy 535 if you want to get away from Disney and convenient to I-4 as well. We'd probably stay here next time we go to Disney.

Room Tip: Tower building if you don't mind a little noise (it stops at 11:00) or main building facing inte...

Our second visit to this hotel! Hubby and I stayed here in 2010 for three weeks, not long after it had opened. We loved it then so only looked at this hotel, for bringing our kids to Orlando this summer! We like it for many reasons! I just love the fact is is fairly quiet and calm around the hotel and that was in July 2014 (3 weeks we stayed) . Restaurant staff and lads at the front entrance are top notch! Huge pat on the back should go to Matt in the restaurant, very obliging, lovely guy and Paul, friendly happy guy at the front door, real hard worker!

This hotel is ideal if you want to mostly do Disney, but cheaper than a Disney hotel and without the restraints on being stuck in Disney! 5-10 mins walk in one direction is the Crossroads, huge variety of food places, gift shops etc and 10 mins walk in other direction is Downtown Disney. Shuttles very reliable, every 30mins!

Meals were lovely and kids eat free was really great! We ate dinner there many times! Other family members had the breakfast buffet and said it was brilliant too but they had vouchers as part of their hotel deal!

I would definitely recommend it but think next time we might go to a hotel with a better pool for kids on our chill days and perhaps one with a play area but this is all this hotel lacks.

Great value for money. Cost us about £70-£80 per night, 2 queen beds with balcony! Huge bonus- NO resort fee! Well done Holiday Inn!

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Orlando from July 25th-28th. All staff members were very helpful from the moment we arrived. The accommodations were great for our family with 2 smaller children. Nice pool area with activities, movie theater on site, and arcade. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed the Applebee's restaurant being connected to the hotel, and the fact that they also offered the buffet breakfast. We did have to wait on wash cloths for an extensive amount of time, one day when house keeping forgot to replace them, however, it is very close to Disney and overall a great stay for the value.

I travel a lot with my job, and that was the case with this trip. I was representing the company I work for at a conference that was held in this hotel's conference area. This means 12 hour days of standing and talking. As you can imagine, when I get to go to my room I'm ready for some relaxation and refueling for the next day. Unfortunately there was an issue with my room the first day I was there which kept this from happening. However, the staff went so far beyond what I would have asked to correct the situation, I was completely blown away. The longer I stayed and interacted with this team, the more I was assured, they truly know what great customer service is. In fact, the day after the conference I was finally able to spend some time at The Disney parks before catching a flight home, and I can tell you the members of the hotel staff I interacted with outdid the famous "Disneytude" that Disney employees are known for. So Kudos Deluxe to Christina, Darrell, Erica, Lisa Marie, Hector, and Jose, and all the staff. You truly helped turn a week of work into what felt like vacation! I hope to be able to return some day with my whole family, and there is no doubt, this is where we will stay.

Room Tip: If you can, request a room on the Downtown Disney side. This way you can see fireworks from several...

We stayed here for 5 nights during our Disney World vacation. This hot was a great value. The rooms were nice and clean and good size. Loved the view of the Disney fireworks from our balcony. My daughter loved the mermaid shaped pool. The restaurant was very good. Good choices on the buffet for breakfast. All the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Liked being able to buy my disney tickets and tickets for other things right at the hotel. There is also a Disney giftshop to buy souvineers. The laundry facilities how ever are in the older part of the hotel. Will defiantly stay here next time we visit!
