Great location, comfortable beds and nice pool. Make sure to keep your curtains closed due to sun attraction to the tinted window, we left for the day w curtains opened ,And came back to a hot room and the a/c unit couldn't cool it down until several hours later. Very close to universal studios and right across the street from water park. Nice updates to decor and tv. Would recommend.

Wasn't sure what to expect from the mixed reviews. For the economical price it was great! Room was very clean, front desk staff helpful. Only downside was the breakfast buffet (not included) - not good in taste, quality, or presentation.

This place is dirty, and I'm glad I did not pay full price for this place. The pictures on the web do no justice to the real appearance. Hallways were littered, elevator dirty, carpets are filthy, and the wanna charge you a fee for a safe you don't even use. Please take plus off your name it should be Best Worst-ern!!! Horrible don't stay here until they clean!!!

We were in Orlando visiting Universal Studios as a "double couples" trip with our friends. Almost everything was booked, so we chose to stay at this hotel. It was affordable. If I remember correctly it was around $350 for four nights. Front desk staff was okay. There was a man that was fine enough, but when checking out there was a rude woman who had an attitude. But whatever, it must suck to work graveyard shift (although not an excuse for poor service) who told us to just leave without checking out.. Okay.. a little strange for me, also took about one month for them to finally take the payment out of our account. I clarified with the bank that they still had the hold but weren't fully processing it for some reason. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were decent.. Although there were stains in the tub, mold in the corners.. They also have a shuttle that we didn't utilize because it fills up quickly and people get kind of scary when pushing and shoving their way on board, so we just called our own for about $10. Easy enough. We're planning a trip to Orlando for 15 people next March and this will definitely not be our choice of hotels, if that means anything. If you can afford it, skip this place and stay in one of the theme park hotels. That's what we'll be doing.

We stayed at this Best Western in July 2011. I was nervous about choosing this hotel since I had seen negative reviews. I however had a great experience! We didn't know that shuttle tickets to Universal were to be set up the night before, but when we woke up in the morning they fit us right into the schedule and found us a space. It is at a great location, and our room was a great value for the money. We have booked rooms at this Best Western againf or our trip this summer! Highly reccommended hotel.

This hotel is very close to Universal Orlando and across the street from Wet n Wild. It is also very close to International Drive where you will find many shops and restaurants. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Universal and you can also buy tickets at the hotel which is very convenient. The rooms are very roomy and I like the added feature of a sink inside and outside of the bathroom. The beds are very comfortable however the pillows are very high and firm. They only have one style so by the time my fours days came to an end I had a very sore neck. The only disappointment/complaint I had was at check-in. We arrived early because we were in Orlando for a wedding and had to get ready for the rehearsal dinner. We were told that check-in was at 4:00; it was 1:30. I explained our situation and asked if an early check-in was possible. Again she repeated that check-in was at 4:00. Again I repeated our situation explaining that we had to leave at 4:00 for the rehearsal and still needed to get ready. After checking her computer she suddenly "found" a room available but it would be $10 extra per night and it was a pool view. Given no other options we took the room. I expected it to be an upgraded room from what I had reserved (two double beds); however it was the same room. When my husband went back to the front desk due to a key card problem he heard her telling the next couple the same story. It seemed like an easy way to make some extra money on the rooms.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your recent stay with us on TripAdvisor. I am glad that you did enjoy your stay with us and that you enjoyed your room, especially the beds and the second vanity sink area. However I am sorry that you did not find the pillows more comfortable. I am not sure if you contacted the front desk staff but there is a second type of pillow in the closet of each room that might have been more to your liking.

I will pass on your comments regarding your check-in experience to our front office manager because it certainly does sound as if we could have done a better job of getting you into your room type earlier and without having an upgrade attached.

Again, thank you for your review and I hope we see you again in the near future.

Sincerely,

Bill Jones, CH
General Manager
