“Front desk service was Amazing!”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

I came for an event at the convention. The hotel was convenient because it was by I-4. The hotel is average. But all things considering it was worth it. The front desk staff, especially Camlan, was amazing. She was extremely helpful. I appreciate her help.

The hotel rooms are very dirty. We actually bought bleach and cleaned the shower. The cleaning staff was a rude. We came home from a day out and the door was left unlocked and OPEN! There's also amenity fees per night that was a added charge. Amenitys?!!!! There was no hair conditioner, no towels for pool, gift shop was closed, pool was dirty, and not even hand sanitizer in the container in the lobby. It was a disappointment. I will say they're trying to fix my disappointing stay but I felt I still had to warn people. Sorry Ramada.

This Ramada hotel gives the chain a bad name. The entry area was decent but entering our room, we were engulfed by the musty stench of what I now know to be mold. Simply out dated and disgusting. The bathroom's fixtures were old, rusted and dented. Sink was stained and chipped. Mold on shower tiles. Ceiling was chipped. There were no wash cloths. Soda bottle was left in fridge from previous guest. Balcony furniture was dirty and rusted. Cigarette smoke filtrated the halls in this "smoke free" hotel. Soda can and cigarette butts littered the elevator (that wasn't working at the time). More litter on one of the side entry floors. Must I go on? Personally, I think this hotel needs a total overhaul or needs to simply close for business. By the way, be aware of the $5 a day resort fee (uhhh, for the amenities... i.e. weight room (with no weights), spa (still looking for it)... Lol. You've been warned.

I would avoid this hotel at all cost. I had reservations for two rooms, for two nights. Checked out early. The bathroom had a crusty old towel hanging on the shower rod, asked them to come back and clean they "did" come back and after returning to the room a few hours later the used towel was still there?! Called down and no one ever came up to fix it. The bathroom had sewer coming out of the wall, the smoke detector was literally hanging off the wall~room should have never been rented out. The second room was not as bad, but still very bad, the front door would not lock, the bed had not been changed, had a yellow urine stain on the sheets. Called and left messages for John Cummings and never heard back? very disappointed

Website is utterly misleading. Wireless available only in lobby. Door to balcony had been forced open so was broken, didn't latch or lock. TV didn't work. Room filthy. No towels by pool. Surly night desk clerk. Poor air conditioning. Breakfast buffet a joke with little on offer and food very poor quality. Surprise charge: "We're adding $5 a day, because this is considered a resort." No water in the bubbler inside the exercise room. No facial tissues in the hotel room. Cleaning team removed my damp bath towel but did not replace it. Hallways unbelievably dirty with spilled sticky liquids here and there, mold everywhere, cracked plaster and concrete, peeling wallpaper. Room phone was disgusting with black dirt and smudges all over the key pad. I felt like I was in a third world country. The place was full---so they have no incentive to improve.

I'm actually still here in the second room after a change from a previous room that was reserved for us.Just waiting on our first reserved room it took about 45 minutes.Reaked of strong urine like seriously bad and their phone in room was disconnected so you cant complain at all to anyone through their system. And i am not the type to complain at all Considering I am still here but too tired to switch a third time having two small children.Terribly bad! They sent room service and she even said it smelled terrible. So we got another room now. Opened the mini fridge and about 6 little roaches came crawling out also fridge doesnt even work. We came from Texas and are so exhausted. Should have read the reviews ahead of time. Dont waste your time. Just because it's a big name hotel does not mean it is well kept up with. I am seriously mad. But have nowhere to turn. It be nice for new management to take over before this hotel goes down the drain especially with the health department.

Avoid this hotel at any cost! Dirty, poor, lack of maintenance etc. Run away !!!!
The room is dirty, dark, smells cigar (on non smoking room), tv is from century XX, air conditioner is noisy (and does not work).
They charge additional $7 for the breakfast.
