We currently have 3 days left of our stay at the Rosen Inn and are extremely disappointed. The Rosen Inn is the perfect location for transport, restaurants and gift shops etc, which makes it so hard to leave such a negative review! The housekeepers didn’t show up to clean our room on numerous occasions, we complained to concierge 3 times until we were finally sent someone to change our bed sheets which I’m sure were not changed the entire holiday as they had similar stains and hairs in. It took talking to a manager to get anything done, and when the cleaner came, she complained that we “should’ve asked the maid from the morning” to do the jobs... I would’ve done that, if they had turned up!! I wouldn’t mind, but the cleaners are noisy outside of your rooms, yet don’t appear to be doing anything but relaxing. Really unimpressed with the customer service from the people at front desk and the cleaners. The water fountain at the pool is filthy and full of dead bugs and flies and the pool water is unflattering. The general uncleanliness of the hotel put us off wanting to use restaurant and the food services provided at the hotel shop. We haven’t left yet and we are completely put off by staying at any of the Rosen Inn’s around Florida.

Stayed for 2 weeks house cleaning very good happy hour in topsy turvy bar were very reasonable light meals in shop/cafe ok
Orlando in general it's been several years since I was last there could not believe how much everything as gone up in price
Even though it was out of season queues for rides in parks was beyond a joke 90 mins plus being the norm if you paid for a one day pass it would be impossible to get your monies worth
We did not hire a car on this occasion but opted to use the I buses these proved excellent

There is currently a dance competition on here in Orlando and the hotel is full of unsupervised teenagers (thought we’d missed spring break) They are constantly running around the hotel until the early hours of the morning keeping guests awake, the hotel doesn’t seem to care as they allow them to do this.
Rooms are very basic if your thinking of coming here make sure you request a room away from block 1000 and off the ground floor as all those rooms allow dogs in them. We had to move rooms as our first room stank of dog urine and had a dog next door barking throughout the night.
Yes it’s cheap to stay here but I’d recommend paying a little extra and stay somewhere else and have a better holiday.

Just returned from our second visit to The Rosen Inn International. Very clean, well-maintained with friendly, helpful staff, Buffet plentiful, well laid out and good variety. 2 swimming pools, plenty of parking. Great situation just off I4. Would recommend to anyone - particularly families.

Would you recommend Rosen Inn International to a good friend who demands the finer things in life?
No sir. While the hotel situated at 7600 International Drive has a lot going for it, the very least of its attributes is sophistication.
With 728 rooms and more than 1500 holidaymakers in residence at any time, including hundreds of children, it is fair to say life in the Rosen is never dull!
Our initial impression, on arrival in an Uber cab from MCO airport, was good. The entrance and reception smacked of an establishment in much higher order than the bargain buy we had settled on booking through British Airways.
Smiling desk staff could not have been more courteous as they handed us a map and pointed us in the general direction of room 2531.
Getting there was a voyage of discovery - and no little mystery - but eventually we cracked the code that led us to the fifth floor.
Our apartment for two weeks disappointed at first glance. The current hotel owner, Harris Rosen, bought the place in 1974 when it was a cut-price Quality Inn.
Forty-five years later, it is fair to say one thing the bedrooms do not smack of is quality.
Two double beds, tiny "kitchen" with fridge and microwave, and bathroom with shower. That's about it, apart from a wall-mounted TV, safe, and free aircon.
If you were asked to stop by an assess the room in one word, that word would be "tired".
However, let's not linger on obvious shortcomings. Much more importantly is the fact that if cleanliness is how you measure your holiday accommodation, you have cleaned up at Rosen Inn International.
Housekeeping excelled. Whether it be new towels, bedding, or a thorough tidying, the maids would stop by every day to do their stuff. We were delighted to return from an exhausting day at the parks to find our dishevelled room had been transformed into an oasis of calm and respectability.
Our party of five (son was next door with our two grandchildren) were delighted that buffet breakfast was part of the package. Serving started at 6.30am and lasted four hours. It was a good way to start a long day, and so popular at times that it was obvious additional staff were needed to book in guests and show them to their table.
I guess the Rosen highlight for our young family was the go-to swimming pool, open from 9am to 10pm. Much bigger than shown in brochures, its temperate waters even enticed this "oldie" to look out his trusty Speedos.
There was never a shortage of sunbeds, and, reassuringly, I did not see a single one in need of repair. All webbing was present and correct. Very comfortable they were, too.
Guests at the bottom end of the Rosen complex also had a pool on their doorstep, one that appeared much quieter than the one outside reception. Pool towels are in plentiful supply at both spots. Very welcome.
During our stay, we made good use of the in-house laundry facilities - three dollars to wash, three dollars to dry. Machines needed tokens, available on site.
The Rosen runs free shuttles to Universal and it is best to book 24 hours in advance, though you might get lucky with an on-the-day request.
Disney costs 20 dollars return, so best let Uber take the strain here unless travelling solo.
The hotel is situated next door to the world's biggest McDonald's, so if you are need of a burger it is only a minute's walk away, Walgreens, a chemist shop that sells just about everything, including ice-cold beers, wine and spirits, is across the road.
We made good use of the I-Ride Trolley, which cost us just 25 cents a trip. Stop ten is just outside the Rosen on I-Drive and easily accessible. The Red Line Trolley south finishes its run at Vineland Premier Outlets, a haven for shoppers.
Gift buying is a breeze, too, at the northern end of the trolley run - International Premier Outlets. Gentlemen, you have been warned!
We never dropped in at Rosen's for dinner, served buffet style, and costing $13.99 plus tax. Typical menu might be carved roast beef, baked chicken, pulled pork, fresh fruit and salad bar, Spanish meatballs, pizza and fries. Kids under five are free with a paying adult. Six to 10-year-olds are $6.99 plus tax.
Our favourite dining destination was Miller's Ale House, on I-Drive 8963. Ten bucks in a cab or maybe a 15-minute walk. No real surprises here regarding food, apart from just how little your tab might be. Menus are all-American fare, with a leaning towards chicken.
Kids eat free here on Tuesdays if mum and dad order an entree, otherwise its $4.99 a serving. Cannot rate Miller's highly enough.
Much nearer the Rosen is Game Changers, situated at the main I-Drive entrance. Three bars in one here, with 32 beers on draught.
Food quality appears to be patchy, according to reviews, but we were never disappointed. Friendly welcome, too.
On our last day, we opted to pay the $28 extra for a late check-out until 3pm. Money well spent, given that it gave the kids the chance to have a last frolic in the pool.
We departed the Rosen Inn with not the slightest regret. It is a hotel that demands little from guests, other than they have a sense of compromise and fun. Just about sums us up!
