We stayed for 6 days in a townhome at this resort. The location was great, pretty close to the expressway, only 15 minutes from that place with the mouse.
The resort itself seemed alright, though we didn’t take advantage of the pool/sauna/gym areas. Nothing seedy was going on in the nearby condos to ours, and the landscaping was all well taken care of.
There were a few items in the condo itself that were broken when we arrived. Nothing big, just decorative type stuff mostly. The owner was very open about the high traffic of the unit, and was quite friendly when we spoke via email. We were not charged for any damages, and we were respectful of the condo.
of The two negatives we had, one is really out of control of the resort. The address of the unit we rented, when put into Google Maps, took us to a gated entrance that was permanently chained shut. The entrance we needed was acutually 2 blocks further down. The second was the dryer in the condo. A previous tenant had damaged the lint trap, and it was quite sharp as a result.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would gladly stay here again.
This was our third stay at the resort, we have kids and it's ideal for that. This condo is decently maintained, but needs minor repairs like plug and shower handle in guest bathroom. Garbage disposal and toilet were leaking and we called the maintenance company, they came out promptly and fixed. The unit is at the end of the complex, so you definitely need to drive to the pool or walk for about 15 minutes. Ac vents need cleaning. We'd stay there again.
I recently visited Regal Palms during spring break 2017. The resort was excellent really nice quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the pool area. The only downside was the renal property. The advertisement stated there were 1 king bed, 2 queen, 2 twin size, and sofa bed. We booked and made our initial payment to reserve the room. Then we saw a link on the managements own website which I clicked to see more photos and on their listing stated the queen beds were full size bed. When I contacted the management company they replied that its basically the same, which is not. But by the time I realized it was too late to cancel and book another townhome that better accommodated my party. Everything was either booked or prices had already significantly increased in preparation of spring break 2017 (mind you I booked 1/9/2017). Dishes stored were dirty. I went to grab coffee mug and lip stick stain was on it, which we are charged a cleaning fee. one of the blow dryers upstairs was broken and the bathroom upstairs had an odd moldy smell. These were little things but if you are being charged a cleaning fee you would think it would be better presented. I think its time they update their bed sheets they are really worn out.
