We have used the boat ramp several times in this park. It is easy to launch your boat or kayaks as the ramp is in a cove and out of the wind and current. The park is clean, restrooms are clean, rangers are very friendly.

Another day of fishing. This time Tomoka State Park.
Tomoka State Park is such a fun place to fish. The boat ramp is is easy for launching a hauling your boat. There's plenty of parking. I have a State of Florida park pass so it's a breeze going past the ranger station. Speaking of rhe Rangers. They're a great bunch of folks, extremely helpful knowledgeable. The park is clean, and the restrooms/showers ect are always clean.
The fishing in the Tomoka area is very good, especially during the week. There's good trout, red fish, black drum, snook, and occasionally tarpon. Go very early, and make a day of it.
You'll not regret it.

We've tent camped here a few times. I love that they've kept all the trees and scrub to give privacy from the other sites. Campground and restrooms are very clean.

The camp store has very limited offerings, but has reasonably priced canoe and kayak rentals. Beach, restaurants, and grocery stores are within a 10-15 min drive.

This was a well kept park that you really want to bring your kayaks along to. Nestled in the trees nicely outside the main Daytona Beach area they even have a nice campground here.

we enjoyed our time here and would go back again.
