“Something missing here.....”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Food was very good, but a bit overpriced. The ceasar salad was made right in front of us and it was delicious. The one negative I would give is that the restaurant does not offer an option of getting separate bills. This is a problem when three couples go out and not everyone gets an alcoholic beverage. This happened to us not too long ago. The bill was split 3 ways and we all used our own credit card but the people not drinking paid into the bar bill. It wasn't crowded that night, in fact, we were the only table there so I don't understand the problem. Was told it was "their policy". Separate bills is very popular in this area which might explain why the place was empty. Also the wine had stuff floating in it and had to be replaced for two people.

“A true gem in Ormond Beach”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

We were surprised to find a true Italian restaurant at the beach, but we surely did! We are from Italy and are suspicious of the so-called Italian restaurants that serve pasta drenched in tomato sauce or overly garlicky. The food instead was well prepared, nicely balanced and just delicious, like you would find in Italy. The ambiance very relaxing and warm. We will be back for sure.

“An overlooked gem in the area!”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

The owners have taken over a venerable local establishment and made it their own. We had dined at their previous location but were not sure what to expect at this, the former Crepe en Haut, location. We were DELIGHTED! The food was sublime, the service beyond excellent, and the ambiance the best! The mussel appetizer was beautifully prepared, with tender, moist mussels cooked perfectly. The lamb with garlic and mint sauce was to die for! We loved every bite! This is an overlooked gem in the area. Hopefully, they will be discovered and get the 'respect they deserve!

“The Best In The Area !!”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

Ormond Beach is so very lucky to have such a fine dining Italian restaurant. The food is incredible. And the atmosphere is appropriately upscale ... or if you prefer a little more casual atmosphere you can dine in the lounge (same menus). And the prices for such fine dining are very reasonable if you order from the menu. The specials are wonderful, but definitely more pricey than the menu ... so check on their prices if that is a concern to you.
All in all, just a wonderful restaurant. Enjoy !!

“Dinner June 11, 2013”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

Atmosphere: Excellent
Service: Excellent:
Price: Reasonable
Dinner:
Cocktail: None They do not serve blended drinks.
Wine: By the glass Merlot, $8.00 Excellent
Appetizer: Cozze Posillipo (Black Mussels) $10.00 A very reasonable price.
By far the best item at the dinner. Very tasty, well prepared. Ample portion.
Salad: Cesar $8.00. Passable. On the dry side. Could use more dressing.
Meat: Vitello Fungi (Veal with Portobello mushrooms) $21.00 Could be higher priced consider the Veal served. A disappointment. The Veal was tough and seemed to be overcooked. Served with vegetables that were prepared to perfection. Plain, dull mashed potatoes were also on the plate. Mashed potatoes should never be served with this dish. Red, Roasted, Scalloped anything but plain mashed potatoes.
Desert: Cheese Cake $8.00 Over priced for the quality. Cake on the dry side. Very well served with fresh fruit.
Best Feature: Service.
Would I go back? No.
