“A drive through old Florida”
Review of The Loop

This drive is peaceful and feels secluded even though it is wide open and the marsh and winding road along the waterway has places to pull off. Given the setting you'd expect to see people fishing with cane poles, and perhaps some still do. It's nature.

If you want to drive or bike this is for you trees hang over road goes right by tomoka state you could stop in. Or continue over the bridge where you see part of the Park on both sides of the road. Relax and enjoy.

Discovered this drive by accident. This was very "old Florida" atmosphere like. A combination of marshes, creeks and river looping back to A1A for a drive down the oceanside.

We felt like going for a drive, just for a diversion, and we thoroughly enjoyed this drive. It was very relaxing!

When I lived in Daytona Beach for College, I often would drive the Loop around the Tomaka River area....it was just beautiful then and now. It is "old Florida" with a road through it. Don't miss it! Well worth the drive.
