Basic and decent place in Moni where we stayed just one night to see Kelimutu. Owners were super friendly. Rooms were basic and clean and had hot water. Food was good and cafe was a good place to chill out. Would stay again.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Billy delighted us with some songs and showed us all the places to go organizing us a trip to the Volcano.

They have 2 kinds of rooms, simple and superior. The simple one was OK. I missed the hot water since it's a not so warm place. I guess next time I have to take superior.

We did not stay at Bintang but came several times to have dinner during our 3-night stay in Moni. The food was nice and the staff very friendly, especially Billy who is also a great musician. We always had a good time. Good vibe!

We rocked up here without a booking, and although they didn't appear to have a room there, they had a little bungalow next to Bintang that they gave us for the night. The guy who ran the place was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a great place to sit in the evening. It was relaxed and fun, with local people playing music and singing. A really great place to spend the evening.

It's also very handy for Kelimutu.

We spent a beautiful evening at Bintang. Great people. A place with an atmosphere in very quiet Moni. Improvised concert by the tenants. Food us good too. Highly recommendable. Keep going guys.

Arriving in Moni without a booking can be a bit risky. Luckily, a room was available at Bintang, and what good fortune this was. Despite a steep staircase from the road, the Bintang is the most delightful accommodation I experienced on Flores. Spacious spotless room with a western bathroom... a shower to die for after Wisata in Ende.

Tobias and his family made me feel very welcome with long chats into the night in the restaurant overlooking the township and surrounding countryside. A great breakfast too. Moni is definately the best starting point for the early morning climeb up to the craters of Kelimutu, which is a must do on Flores.

Moni, Bintang and Bob Marley. It works for me!

Room Tip: The rooms at the highest part of the stairs are the newest.

Really enjoyed my stay here, Tobias and his family were very hospitable! Had a fabulous tour up to see kelimutu with Billy on his new bike and was treated to some of his excellent singing and guitar playing back at their restaurant! Compared to other towns in Flores this little town was worth an extra night!! The views around here are stunning and with the cooler climate you can take plenty of walks. I would highly recommend!
