A step up from Clark's Fish Camp in Jacksonville. Crowded every time we have been there. A lot of fried food and big assortment of side dishes. Primarily a seafood restaurant. We have always had good service there. Inside and outside dining on the water. Many customers come on motorcycles on weekends. Lots of seating. We come over from the East Coast of Florida and enjoy the country ride over. Always bring guests about 5 times a year. Can also get there by boat. Very clean.

“a great manager could fix this place...”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

Saturday at five PM.....got a table for four outside in fifteen minutes....took about 25-30 to take our order, felt a bit neglected...got our salads pretty quickly, no silverware, poor service....watched our neighboring tables covered with dirty dishes for 35 minutes, (two people came to bus them and were called away to somewhere else..People who were waiting for a table were sent over to these tables, unescorted, to find them not ready...). There was no sense of urgency here, and no sense that the folks who work here know how to work in a restaurant....the food was just fine, maybe heavy on breading, but just fine. This could be a GREAT place to eat, with training and team building. The food was just fine, a beautiful location, but the service is discombobulated and neglectful. It used to be much better. This stuff starts at the top....

“Always satisfied”
Reviewed 25 March 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Had lunch with family. We we're put at a table for 8 to 10 people. There was 4 of us and they sat us at each end of the table. We were unable to have a conversation without yelling. There were other tables in other sections but not in our waitress's area. The lunch food was very good.

“Great seafood”
Reviewed 24 March 2014 via mobile

I had some wonderful shrimp. We weren't rushed. The restaurant was busy. But we could still carry a conversation in a normal voice.

“Best seafood in town :)”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

My husband and I have eaten at Corky Bell's many times and It is always awesome. The restaurant is located right on the St Johns River and the location is beautiful. They have outside seating and a outside bar too. The seafood is always fresh and the service is good. I either order the fried shrimp or the deviled crab and both are excellent. I couldn't help but notice that other reviewers had made comments about the food being microwaved and I have to argue that statement. We've never had a bad meal there and we take all our out of town guests there too. The prices are reasonable and I'm pretty sure they have a nice happy hour too. The only negative I can see is that sometimes it is very busy so you may need to wait to get seated but it is worth the wait. Ample parking and great location make this restaurant a winner.
