Relaxing! Romantic! An Oasis of Tropical-Spanish Charm! This quaint, detailed, boutique hotel is one of our favorites! The rooms are appointed with stunning details and craftsmanship in the wood workings! The bathrooms give a feel of a personal spa. At night the courtyards take on their own romantic charm! We could have spent the night out there if we could have. We came in the dead of July when no one is on Palm Beach. It felt as if we were house-sitting for some millionaire. Oh, and the pool was all ours! Check out the restaurant on sight, Cafe Boulud (and my comment on it). Also, check out Worth Ave. 2 blocks south and one of its most popular restaurants, Taboo (and again my comment on it).

This is a good hotel - high levels of service, good rooms, and a worthwhile restaurant. Over New Year it was very expensive - $700 a night all in, and everything is an extra. Breakfast for two one day was $100, and it was way below your avaerage chain hotel. The main problem with this hotel is the pool - I can report 75% shade in winter. The room was so dark it felt good to get out.

  • Liked — high quality hotel
  • Disliked — no sun at the pool and very expensive

The Brazilian Court is in a ncie, quite location a couple of blocks north of Worth Avenue. Shopping is close by as are some nice restaurants. The property is old but was renovated a couple of years ago. The one bedroom suite I had was laid out in an odd fashion, but nicely appointed. A significant downside was the noise. The air conditioner kept cycling on and off and was quite loud, as was the icemaker. This is one of those hotels where I might stay again, but the place is not one where its worth seeking out or making it a destination.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days for a getaway weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The Brazilian Court was a great place for us to spend some quiet time. The hotel has a peaceful, calm atmosphere. It is luxurious without being overly opulent. The atmosphere is quite romantic, with a beautiful tropical courtyard surrounded by private rooms tucked away around it. The amenities at the hotel, such as the Frederic Fekkai salon and the Cafe Bouloud restaurant, were excellent. Service from the staff was fairly good, though we had minimal requirements, as we preferred to be left alone in privacy. The hotel itself is only a short walk from Worth Ave. and the beach, and blends into a surrounding residential neighborhood, making it a nice environment to go for a walk around the area. Overall, the Brazilian Court was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet but luxurious romantic getaway.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in July for my husbands birthday. I had phoned the hotel a couple of weeks prior to arrival to confirm our arrival time and to order champagne and strawberries on arrival for my husbands birthday, as a surprise. The staff at reception were very helpful and assured me everything was in place. We arrived an hour late and to my surprise there was no champagne waiting. I popped down to reception to remind them of my request and they assured me everything was on its way, but no apology. Half an hour later I called room service to order dinner and ask about my champagne and strawberries, apparently the chef was busy preparing everything, still no apology. By this point I was getting a bit annoyed to say the least as it was spoiling my surprise. Dinner arrived another half hour later with champagne but no strawberries, they finally turned up another half hour later. The service was slow and disappointing and I was really hacked off. At no point did anyone apologise for their delay or for the fact they had spoiled my surprise.
However, the hotel was beautiful and the room was lovely, with a large sun terrace.
Pool was small and the staff were just a bit slow off the mark. The restaurant was very nice and the food excellent, the staff in the restaurant were very attentive.
We enjoyed our stay but would go back to the Breakers next time as it was better value for money and slicker service.

We stayed at The Brazilian Court over Valentine's Day weekend. The location of this hotel couldn't be better with its proximity to all the stores and restaurants on Worth Avenue.

The room was not worthy of a 5 star property. It was on the small side and had no comfortable furniture to lounge around on. The bathroom had a large shower and tub and two sinks. We didn't have a full supply of toiletries provided and ran out of toilet paper, with no spare roll in sight.

Dogs are allowed at this property,so there was some barking.

The restaurant's food was delicious but the service was exceedingly slow for Valentine's day dinner. Our reservation was at 8:30 and we didn't receive our dinner until 9:30p.

The lounge has great entertainment but only on Thursdays and Fridays.

The staff is friendly, remembering our names each time they saw us.

We have stayed at the Breakers, Chesterfield Inn, The Colony, and the Four Seasons. We probably would stay at either the Breakers or 4 Seasons next time.
