First of all the golf is great. Courses were very busy and we played in under 4 hours every day. The greens on the Palmer were running 12.5-13. After the Champion that is the best course followed by the Fazio. Public spaces are great. The food at the resort is good and the I-Bar has a lot of buzz at night. The resort has one failing and it is service. The resort adds an automatic 18% to everything and I think it hurts service. Our group always tips large for good service and not once to we have the opportunity. The bars is staffed with enough people but they work slow and spend to much time talking to each other.

The Bar 91 broke some new ground. We ordered three drinks at the bar to take outside. The tall blonde bar tender was talking to the chef for 5 minutes before taking our order. We decided not to have a second drink and getting the bill became such a challenge we left without paying. Not because it was crowded but because she was talking with co-workers. There seems to be a general lack of oversight with regard to restaurant service. Our service in the Ironwood was fine.

I hope they get the service in line with a Ritz or Four Season or somewhere just close. If they do it will be a regular stop for me. It would be a shame for such a property not fix such a fixable issue.

Stayed at the PGA National Resort and Spa in January 2014. I had an excellent and relaxing stay. We had a very prompt check in and were given a nice double room on the ground floor with easy access and a view of the pool. The rooms are nice and are stocked well.
The best part of the trip was the Spa. The spa is so relaxing and the treatments were wonderful. The sugar scrub was one of the most relaxing treatments I have ever had. Also loved being able to wind down and relax after my massage.
The food is good but expensive due to the 18% gratuity that is added to everything along with the tax. Favorite meal was the thai salmon salad at the spa.
Took advantage of the spin class one morning and it was great!

I attended a business conference here and was most impressed with staff and property. My room was large and comfortable. I found the staff friendly and quite helpful. The food was quite good although most of my meals were in a banquet setting with other conference delegates. It's too bad my schedule didn't permit me the opportunity of enjoying the extensive leisure activities available at the resort.

The regular rooms are nice , the Junior suites are very nice , the suites are super nice, but the Spa Suite was fantastic! Decorated in soothing gray tones, this suite looked onto the greens. The bathroom was divided into a double vanity area with water closet, and the other half was a separate tub and enormous spa shower. The glass tiles added to the spa effect. I spent 2 days enjoying not only the spa at PGA, but the room as well!

Room Tip: Need to request feather pillows in advance.

Pga National is a must go for golfers. The hotel is nice and the staff very kind. The Fazio course is not the most attractive, so if possible skip it. Unfortunatelly this time rain did not allow us to play at the other courses. Marisa and Helio Fabbri

Great rooms, with very comfortable beds. The service of the restaurants is good but the actual service of the hotel managers is awful. Pool area is mediocre, however, the overall golfing facilities is fantastic. Similarly, gardens mall is very local. Good hotel in general, just a shame about the managers.

Very impressive for a European . When you exit motorway and enter into PGA Boulevard you realize this place has a certain importance . I found it obviuosly very nice . I staied only one night so did not have time to experience all the opportunities but there seem to be a lively organization for golfers and non golfers and mostly important to me also for kids . Very nice pool . Not being used to high end US pricing for green fees I was actually shockked in heating 300 usd for the green fee and limited myself to practice on an excellent driving range .
