Arrived with co workers to bell staff who watched as people lugged their bags out of car.
Once out the "you want help" came out.....

The check was quick. Room was a good size with a balcony with view of golf course.
There was a used cocktail napkin on the floor by the door....Baths were clean on top but floors looked a bit dirty.
Next night after work meetings and dinner, arrived to the same napkin on the floor by door. Room was made up....Next am coffee maker kept tripping the GFI's ....That night came back to the same napkin on the floor....Had dinner in the hotel 3rd night. Was decent for a hotel. Service was always friendly. Last day ate lunch by the pool area and food was well prepared and served with a smile. That night returned back to room to, yes, the same napkin.....They charge $2.50 per day for maid on top of the usual hotel resort fees. At least pick up the debris at the entrance to room....
This is a busy golf resort that caters to business meetings, so I would not come back unless it was business. The staff is very helful, but they need to check up on the maids...I would bet that napkin is still on the floor by the door.

Excellent staff, awesome grounds and buildings.

I tagged along on my husband's business trip and had time to enjoy my stay. I spent a morning at the spa, where they do wonderful work. Word to the wise, however. I knew ahead of time what each service cost, and when I checked in for my spa services, I was told tip was included - which made the services seem more affordable. Actually, tip was added on by the spa at the checkout when I was done, and I am apparently a very good tipper. My $125 service actually cost $145.

The food was very good, the beds were very comfortable. The only refrigerator in the room was in the locked cabinet where the drinks were, so we did not use the fridge, so I kept my bottles of water cold with ice in the sink.

The service was very good, and for $249 per night I was prepared for higher costs. The 10 beers in the lounge were a bit of a surprise, however. Bring a lot of cash along if you stay here, or be prepared to pull out your plastic and use it a lot.

It is a golfing hotel. If you are looking for scenery or the beach, then this is not the spot for you.

Just got back from PGA national, was very impressed with stay. Staff courteous and very helpful. Had to change tee times for a late flight and they were very accomidating. Some slow rounds but that had more to do with the players ahead of us, and hey, I was on vacation so I was not in a rush either.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. As with any resort there are nickel and dime charges, but with such a friendly staff It was hard to complain.

The hotel was a little disappointing, definitely needs an renovation upgrade. Entry is outstanding and sets high expectations. Restaurants and food as outstanding. Golf is great, however, women's locker room was shameful for any club house, let alone a high end course with high end prices. Resort rooms were older, carpets worn, bathrooms had peeling wall paper and a little dirty in shower/tub. Shower was very old, I've had much better at 25% of price. Upgraded to suite with bar, but no bar fridge, very annoying. Overall hotel was ok, just not as luxiurious as I expected for a 4 star resort and for the price. Balcony had great space and view, but furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. I wouln't stay again and I wouldn't recommend it for the price.

I recently returned from a stay at the Resort, which to summarize was completely un satisfactory. I have been part of a group of 8 men who have been coming to PGA National for 25 years and from time to time have encountered poor service...or worse. A few years back we were given a very tepid heads up that the lobby was undergoing "some renovation", but that our stay would not be impacted. We arrived to an active construction site and had to navigate through workman with jackhammers, and assorted noisy power tools through a hallway surounded by plastic to contain dust. There were ladders and extention cords everywhere! Not only was it very unpleasant...it was unsafe.

This year we were treated to arrive during a motorcycle convention. All 8 of us were unceremoniously removed from the main hotel (in order to accomodate the motorcycle group) and told we would be staying in cottages - without any prior warning. To be polite...they were worn, dated, and circa 1980's motif. One guy wanted to sleep in his clothes! I wonder how many bikers played golf?

This group has had enough and will take our business elsewhere!

We were on the fall escape package, which included daily golf/cart on four of the courses [Champion is $100/each extra], breakfast [either buffet or menu], free parking. Be aware there is a daily resort fee in addition to the room charge, and 18-20% gratuity is added onto every service, including spa services. Room was a good size, with a balcony that had 2 chairs/table. Very comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere allowed a good night's sleep. Toiletries fine for a man, women bring hair conditioner. Fantastic golf experience- my husband and I golfed seven days straight in perfect weather. The golf staff were friendly, efficient and professional. Resort was very accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night due to flight cancellation. Use the web site to check out availability, but call reservation to book, as tee times need to be made in advance.
Rent a car- lots of great restaurants in the area. The iBar in the hotel is excellent, with a nice wine selection.

This resort is so lovely. It offers everything you could possibly want. The golf courses are in excellent condition. I didn't get to visit the spa, but I will next year. We are already talking about our return visit.
